Posted : 2 Dec, 2013 08:34 AM Ladies....how far would go to impress that special guy you've began a courtship with(within moral limits of course:rolleyes:) Personally I would want him to think that if we've entered into this preliminary stage of our relationship, that he's got my focus......after Christ and family! Bottom line is I'd do all I can to show him just how important he's becoming to me, eg. sending romantic notes, arranging to spend time together, some spontaneous surprises(between him and I:hearts:) etc. Are there other ideas you guys would like to share? Posted : 13 Dec, 2013 06:44 AM Hmmmm, impressing a guy... what's your motivation? is it to gain more love? to keep his attention? i attended a bible study with married women and they mentioned that the #1 need of the man is respect. if our #1 need is love, theirs is respect. since i do not recall the points in that bible study, i looked up a link for you with similar points: http://www.imom.com/ispecialists/shaunti-feldhahn/the-five-respect-needs-of-men/ 1. Respect his judgment 2. Respect his abilities 3. Respect in communication 4. Respect in public 5. Respect in our assumptions At the end of the day, who we are is more important that what we give. sure, it's nice to impress the guy by giving. but at the end of the day, they would remember our character (i.e. what we say) more than what we did. =) my Bible study leader always reminds me to just keep my eyes on Jesus. a woman after God's own heart is always beautiful, and her beauty shines from the inside out. =) Post Reply

Knowing that my Lord is whom I'll always be accountable to first, I'd aspect my spouse to take that same stance. So I guess were saying the same thing......in just different ways. Be blessed.
