Admin	What physically attracts you? Posted : 1 May, 2010 06:39 PM Okay ladies, I posed this question to the guys. I think they might be shy in answering, reluctant to look shallow. It's well known that even though we enjoy eye candy just like they do, we find the character commitment, respect and love of a man at the top of the our list. You MIGHT hear a woman say that physical attractiveness is not important, but I have yet to hear a man say that. That said, what attracts you? What physical attributes grabs your attention? (sorry, some of yall might find that odd, but so what! :goofball:) What I'm noticing is that what I used to think was so "physically attractive" some years ago, don't float my boat the way it used to.... Now, what seems to "make butterflies in the stomach and heart flutter" ... has taken a twist. The things that used to turn my head, well, must be something the Lord is doing with me, cause I've changed! Ok, so I still have a few that apply today... - eye contact (that's one! :yay:) Actually that's a biggy! A lot of the attributes many of you listed used to be on my list too. So ok, I'm blabbering now... In some ways now, physical attraction "does not equal to chemistry" which is what I want! Chemistry!! What I'm learning is that chemistry might not have anything to do at all with physical attraction or lack of. I.E.... You all know the entertainer Seal....Well, I've always thought of him as being so attractive to me... As some of you know he's scarred, but, I find him to be so "alluring like a magnet" to me, that I just respect, and admire that man so much. His demeanor, the way he carries himself...etc.... For that matter, a man like Frank Sinatra floated my boat too! Hey, maybe we ought to post a thread on our favorite attractive actors, politicians, businessmen, etc... View Profile History	What physically attracts you? Posted : 2 May, 2010 09:47 PM Okay, I've had a difficult time coming up w/ a list because I've been attracted to different types of men. It's not like there's a real specific prototype here. And, as others have said, it's the character that really matters. I could fall in love with a man no matter what he looks like. My ex-boyfriend would be an example of that....... Anyways, let's see... I like the intellectual look... like college professor looking all pensive at his lappy at the coffee shop look. And I drool over architects... I love watching them draw or just talk. They're so expressive, but in a more restrained way than some men. Architecture professors are great, although I had this one in college who was a jerk and I didn't like him... I could gaze at an architect for hours and not get bored in most cases. I guess I feel like it's a beautiful mix of the logical/math side and the artsy side... like a perfect blend of left and right brain. So, um, what else... I generally prefer dark hair and dark eyes. I like a man who is well-spoken... who is both gentle and confident in his speech. Good grammar is important =) Voices are a big turn-on/turn-off kinda thing for me, but I couldn't really describe what kind of voice I like... There isn't just one type really. Smells are also a big turn-on/turn-off kinda thing. Cologne is great, but in very small quantities. I don't want to be able to smell it until I'm a few feet away from him. It would be nice if he was such a height that I could rest my head against his chest when we were standing together. Big, strong, clean hands are nice. Black v-neck sweaters are nice. Hmmm... Posted : 4 May, 2010 03:32 AM For me the first thing that attracts me to a guy is the way he handles himself in front of different kind of people (children, storekeeper, senior citizens & especially to those who need a helping hand while he's passing by). It's like his action speaks louder than words. I agree with babygirl about that rugged look. A nice smile & gentle voice that is so comforting to hear. There's nothing that turns me off more than a wimpy handshake. For me, it's all in the hands. If like a practical man with good hands. Everything else comes secondary haha. Post Reply

Posted : 17 May, 2010 05:20 AM I'll reply and break the ice for the guys - What is phisically attractive ot me is a women with brunette hair, about the same height as i am (5-8) or shorter. Beautiful eyes and a great smile. As for what actualy attracts me in general - a woman who has a good head on her shoulders, smart, compassionate, down to earth, and who has a deep faith in God.
