Admin	Ladies...Why are short guys overlooked???? Posted : 11 Aug, 2010 04:21 PM I am a successful man with a budding ministry...I am blessed and consider myself honest and caring...Yet I can't count the times I have been overlooked because of my height. I am short it is the way GOD made me... and yea I've heard over and over again how GOD created us in his image but...It seems like most women haven�t gotten that memo...hahaha Ladies what is your opinion on this??? What can I do to get noticed??? I take care of myself....I am mature yet fun loving... I feel like I have everything to offer... Frustrated in NJ Eric Post Reply

Posted : 12 Aug, 2010 10:55 AM Go easy Eric God made you as you are for a purpose. 2 things to consider: In my own experience, I find that sometimes I get looked over because of a major deficiency in another area that I wasnt seeing. For instance my delivery of my words still kind of leads something to be desired. There is no one like you, there will be no one like you. God made ppl a certain way and I believe I speak under influence of the Holy Spirit in saying there are women who will dig you for you, man :) Its all lock and key, and remember God is soverighn. Proverbs 9:11 I have observed something else under the sun. The fastest runner doesn't always win the race, and the strongest warrior doesn't always win the battle. The wise sometimes go hungry, and the skillful are not necessarily wealthy. And those who are educated don't always lead successful lives. It is all decided by chance, by being in the right place at the right time. Post Reply

Even if it is though, I really don't think it should matter. It's just tiring to hear so much about how shallow us guys are like we're the only ones who are concerned about anything physical. Posted : 12 Aug, 2010 02:12 PM Might wana stop lookin at it as a shotcomin ( No pun intended ) an start lookin at it as a Blessin...some women like physically shorter Gents...Ifin ya draw attention to it...well...it shows insecurity within self...not very appealin...Women like confidence verses arrogance in Gents...You are as our Creator has designed you...embrace that an maybe...jus maybe...you'll atract a nice Gal that likes ya jus the way ya are...anywho...thats my 2 bits... Maybe you could try taking some with you smiling, and see if you have better results. I have known lots of couples where the husband was very short and the wife not just a couple of inches taller, but in the 6' range. All of the men were very friendly, outgoing, and humble. They did not show a "short man complex" by being overbearing to make up for their lack of height. None of these couples ever divorced either. If you don't make it an issue or even bring it up, others won't notice your stature, they will just see a great person. Post Reply

Being "short" myself, when I was searching profiles I ran into lots of guys who were your height or a few inches taller ---- who were not interested in me because they thought I was too short!! Be yourself, be honest, and keep looking. The right woman will not care how tall you are, but what your heart is like. Post Reply

Be comfortable with yourself and have confidence in God, he knows what he is doing, he has had a plan for you since you were even created. I am only 5'6 and i have experienced being judged by a few girls because i was shorter than the "norm". YOU dont want to even be with girls like that, thats the way i look at it anyways. Post Reply

Unfortunately, there are shallow men & women that haven't yet learned what's really important in finding a lifelong mate. You should be able to look at your boo without cringing, and I have preferences like the next person, but not one of them takes presidence over finding a true man of God. Post Reply
