Is the second date too early to propose?Posted : 4 Dec, 2010 08:13 PMGo for broke and take her to Vegas. That way, proposal and marriage will be done before 4th date and either of you has time for cold feet. Then, you can meet the families over the Christmas holidays. Nice little package deal. |

Is the second date too early to propose?Posted : 5 Dec, 2010 09:48 AMSounds like her mission trip, if it is not a clever excuse to lose contact with you, is perfectly timed! If she is still interested in you after three weeks of separation, that's probably an excellent sign. If she isn't, then she either ran off or has a short attention span, and both are probably good indicators that it wouldn't have worked. |

Is the second date too early to propose?Posted : 5 Dec, 2010 11:47 AMI guess I'll just have to make this next date extra special so she can't wait for the third one in a month... |

Is the second date too early to propose?Posted : 5 Dec, 2010 01:02 PMGreat to hear, Tulip! Yes, the 2nd date is too early. 4th date -- that is when you should do it. Then wait until you graduate to have the ceremony. That will give you lots of time to see her in a sundress (once the weather is warmer) and for her to ride on your bike. And for your family and friends to give a thumbs up. I'm really happy for you! :applause: |
