Admin	Age. Posted : 30 Mar, 2011 08:39 PM Does age matter, and how much does it matter? I asked the women because I know they probably have strong opinions on this. There's instances in the bible of older men marrying girls who were quite a bit younger than them. Isaac had sent his servant and his servant prayed, and God had given Isaac a wife, and Isaac was a lot older than Rebekah when they wed, and I think Boaz was a bit older than Ruth. Well, I could come up with at least a few instances. What do you think about a younger women marrying a man maybe 10 or even 20 years or so older than her? Rachel Post Reply

stegoodie View Profile History	Age. Posted : 31 Mar, 2011 04:40 PM I agree with pianogal on the seasons of life thing. I use to believe that I would only date girls my same age or younger. Then I dated a girl who was a year older than me. Now I've been a graduate student for almost a year and I think it would be tough to date the undergrads I'm around a lot. They are simply not at the same season in life that I am so it's difficult to relate to them other than the occasional "Back when I was an undergrad...." story. This is especially true the earlier they are in their college experience. Taking those experiences in mind and the fact that I'm 23, my general rule is to be interested in girls age 20-25 because that age range tends to be closer to my maturity level and have more in common with me. Of course, as with all rules, it's likely there are exceptions. Post Reply

View Profile History	Age. Posted : 31 Mar, 2011 05:19 PM Based on my personal experiences, I get along very well with men of all ages but to be lovers mostly are slightly older than me. Tried it with men of my age or even younger but it never works out for me, the sparks were never there. I think the reason behind it is the men who are slightly older than me have passed my stage of life and I could learn from him. I feel like "hey this guy understands what I'm going through". But again, whomever the guy God is bringing to my lap, I believe he's the best for me, no matter how young or old he is. Post Reply
