Posted : 20 Jun, 2011 07:49 PM I've had various romantic nicknames given to me by gals I've loved who have loved me in return in my life, but those are between us and shouldn't be shared here ... but I can share a couple of temporary nicknames I've had in the past ... While I was going to college in the early 80s in Ohio, two of my fellow students who were also interested in theater, and were student actor friends, gave me one unique, personal nickname each ... a gal friend named Deb liked to call me "Hopalong" because of my "hopping along" around campus on my crutches, going here and there to classes and theater productions in the various buildings ... and a black guy friend named Virgil liked to call me "Stevie Wonder" (I "wonder" why?) ... maybe because I was a "wonder" to him, doing all the theater related things I did as a physically-challenged guy who loved theater and entertainment type artistic things too and worked on the tech crews for several of the theater productions on campus that Virgil enjoyed acting in!!! :yay::applause: Steve Post Reply

Some of them are Katie Katie, Katie Kate, my last name, and Katie Lady. My current favorites are Cute Little Katie (given by my best Chinese friend), and Ella (my friend is Olivia; they were drawings on the booklet of a Hawk Nelson CD). Post Reply
