Posted : 28 Sep, 2011 07:28 PM Well, the first one that comes to mind happened to me probably 20 years ago. I had gotten encouraged to write down a list of things I needed, as well as some things I wanted. The total came to someting like $791.36. Which made me laugh because there was no way I had that kind of money back then. I kept the list in my Bible, and every time I saw it I would look it over, pray about it, laugh at the amount of money, and put it back. About 6 weeks later, my boss called me into her office. She had this funny smile on her face. She said, "Remember all those programming changes you made to your program for the Florida office? Well, they gave you a bonus for that." And she handed me a check. When I got a chance to open the envelope and see the net amount (after taxes, etc.) guess what?? Yup -- it was the EXACT amount I had been praying about. Ha! Posted : 29 Sep, 2011 09:45 AM During the Spring of 2006 I read a book that was set in China that just really made me want to experience China for myself and I prayed all through summer about going and serving God, even if for just a summer. At the beginning of the Fall semester an announcement slide went across the screen during chapel about a summer opportunity in China... it was the only announcement that I saw. I started praying about that specific opportunity and searching through the Scriptures. I came across Daniel 2:28a, which says "but there is a God in heaven who reveals mysteries". That was my confirmation that I was going to China during the summer of 2007. So I applied, I got accepted into the program, and I spent a month teaching English and serving God in Hong Kong! It was amazing! Two years ago, as I was preparing to graduate from college, I was looking for youth ministry internships and possible job opportunities for after graduation. I saw several opportunities for teaching English in China and started praying about it. Offer after offer came, but they all fell through. After a few months of this, I prayed and told God that it was my desire to go and live in China, but if He wanted me to stay in the states and work in some type of youth ministry or other job, then I would be just as happy to do that. Almost exactly two weeks after that prayer, I got a job offer teaching English to college students in the Henan Province of China! And I taught at that school for two years! Post Reply

I was to young to know about how bad it was, but I knew GOD and prayed. My dad, who was only given a 50-50 chance of living, is now 75 and just fine thank you! When I was pregnant with my son, he was exspected to be born with a cleft palate and "water on the brain" I did not know this at the time. When he was born, he was perfect!!!!!! The doctor could not get over it! When we went to CA, we had a wreck in AL. Our car was totaled,and my daughter was at the point of impact. She should have been killed. She walked away, not a scrach!!!!!! My very dear friend, Riki, had a Huge lump in his back. So big, we were afraid of cancer. He had surgery 2 weeks ago. I will see him this weekend. Posted : 27 Oct, 2011 10:36 PM I prayed for God to bring godly friends into my life as I do not have many Christian friends. Almost a year ago, I met a lady at church and we have become inseparable friends. We're so close, we're like sisters! We go to church or Christian events together, we pray for each other, we encourage one another. She's a gift from God. I am so grateful for the way the Lord answered that prayer! Post Reply
