View Profile History	What makes you feel and know you are really loved? Posted : 28 Jun, 2012 08:27 AM Do you know this question made me think and it amazes me that I had to think about it a lot lol. Um the way I grew up I always felt love was conditional so you can imagine although I accepted Christ upon reflection I realized how hard it was for me to wrap my mind around the notion that God loved me. I mean His love would blow anyone's minds but i had not really been shown love the way I guess he intended. But He's been teaching me (How I love my God lol). I guess for me it's being able to be honest with me. I only have the love of my friends to draw from here. God has placed beautiful people in my life that can tell me the truth about myself and bear me up in prayer. I am never ridiculed and I am not allowed to think lowly of myself. The way they can just offer a hug. Then with God there are times i can just sit back and worship and the way He responds the way he talks with me and laughs with me, is there for me when I feel like I can't go on and trials are too much. The way he gave himself up for me, even the way he chastens me.... it all makes me feel love. As for the romantic aspect I don't have an answer here lol but one day :) Post Reply

Male or female, we all both wanted to be loved and cherished. We all wanted to feel important. Understanding and knowing their primary love language can make a difference to create a long-lasting relationship. Most times, how we show love to others is what we expect others would show it to us as well. For me, i always wanted to spend quality time with others, because i want them to do the same for me. That's how i feel loved. But then, i keep on receiving words of affirmation and appreciation. We both can't appreciate what we do for each other, because we have wrong expectations on how we show our love. It's included in the getting-to-know stage of the both of you..
