Winks?

Now and then I'll get a "wink" or notification that someone has added me to their "favorites." I'll usually message the person when they do this. However, I'd say about half the time they read the message but don't reply back. Am I that corny when trying to start a conversation, or are there other reasons girls do this? One would think that if you send a "wink" to somebody you're trying to get their attention. So why would you not reply to their message then when you get that attention? My messages are pretty straight forward... I'll typically introduce myself and say a thing or two I liked about their profile, or ask a question, etc. Any thoughts?

I send very few winks, but when I do, I am very much interested in the man. They usually reply back and when they do I respond. I am not on here to play games. Even though we maynot be a Match, I have respect enough to reply.

I agree I don't send out random winks, if I do send them out I am very interested. I get what you are saying though. As for favorites when I click that button it's because I may be in a rush but something in the profile caught my eye. I used to write to them later but I have realized sadly most men aren't interested in women outside of their country which is fine. God is still good. :)

I personally dont always respond to every wink and every message.

I definitly try to respond to every message but sometimes I forget about the winks.

We are buisy people and we can only mannage so many requests here in this site. So some times I have to pick and choose who I want to respond to.

What I mean is some time some Ladies slip through my fingers not on purpose but by mistake.

I can only speculate about others and would think some women are like me. I think their is the possibility that some women are so riddled with fear over talking with a guy they might not know how to repond either.

If the guy seems to great and they feel unworthy of him they might send a wink only to feel like they have done something to reach out to him.

But also their are window shoppers here never wanting to buy. They think they would buy but because of their baggage they are not able too.

But heres the thing. If a woman can not communicate in a way that makes you feel comfortable then move on. Dont get offended because no matter how beautiful she is you will always be frustrated by her. You dont want a life of frustration trying to communicate with a woman you can not.

Be thankful she has not wasted much of your time and resources and thank God as well. Let it be a time of learning greater patience for when you do meet a woman and your communication becomes frustrating. It will happen but in a fluid relationship is should be few and far between.

Hey,

I don't ever reply to winks. I think that it just means that the guy has not found anything in my profile to actually ask a question about. I have this written in my profile, and when I do get a wink, I just assume that my profile was not read by the guy that sent the wink.

I would rather get a random question . . . something like: whats your favorite . . . . ?

:)

I send a wink here-and-there, but that's only when I am really interested in a guy. I don't mind being winked at, but when it comes to messaging them back with no reply in return, it makes me wonder what their intentions were. Were they really serious, or just playing?

As for a girl, I know that I always reply, because I hate the thought of leaving the guy hanging. But other girls probably just do it for fun. It might just be a game to them, to wink and then see if you reply. :/

A wink to me is like saying hello, we may have some things in common. I might wink back or try to ask a couple of questions or write a thought that occurred when I read their profile.

So I guess I view winks differently.
