A very cute, nice, funny, solid Christian man picks you up for a date. He hands you flowers. You say, "thank you" and put them in a vase. He helps you into your sweater and into the car...

*vrooooom*

Off you go... just about through the windshield because he is a maniac of a driver... racing through stop signs, crossing over the centre line in the road, running over sidewalks, etc...

What do you say/do?

I would tell him that he should my friend... they have so much in common! I would also hold on for dear life, and tell him about the oncoming traffic and people on the sidewalk.

He must be driving backwards for you to hit the windshield.:goofball:

My British Motor car pushes you deep into the seats when the double overhead cams flip to race mode and the 8 cylinders get lots of gas and air.:yay:

SOUNDS LIKE A BAD MAN. A REAL BAD MAN.

Glendoramike - sounds like a blast!

Good question, Pixy. Well, after I got over my manicial giggling and lifted my right foot off the floor so I wasn't trying to press down on the gas pedal...... I might say something like "You are driving a little too fast for my comfort. Could you please go slower?" But I wouldn't be able to wipe the gleeful grin from my face! :glow:

I'd probably say "Slow down! I thought you liked me, but you seem to prefer me dead!" and if he didn't slow down, I'd be doing the driving from then on or meeting him somewhere for future dates. If I agreed to go out with him again.

Now someone who is a good driver, but drives a little faster than I like would be OK...it's just the careening all over the road that would scare me to death. I would dislike a "little old lady" type of driver just as much, though.

I've actually had that happen to me. I'm not as nice as you ladies. I told him that if he planned to continue to drive recklessly, to let me out NOW! The date was over. He drove like a law abiding citizen and perfect gentleman the rest of the night. If he wasn't thinking about my safety to begin with, I didn't think a "be more careful, please" would probably get his attention. I think he mistook me for Godslamb and thought I'd start smiling at any second.

Sorry luck for him.

Rose

LOL... You all are great! Love how you all make me smile :glow:

I would be really leery to continue into a relationship w/ someone who was so reckless w/ his driving... I'd wonder what else he was reckless w/... I'd wonder if he was a good steward of what God gives him... I'd wonder if our future children would be safe in the car w/ him!

@Mike- He pulled out of the driveway backwards and keeps having to back up every time he runs into something. And he stops crazy fast! Complete maniac!

:toomuch:
