Do you judge a man by his hands at all? What do you think of the pretty, manicured, pedicured, soft as a baby's bottom hands? What do you think of the hands of the "laborer"? When I say that, think: Construction workers, mechanics, the guys who have missing digits, or the tell-tale burn marks of a line cook?

Judge? No. Look at and consider as just a small part of the big whole? Yes.

Only after I've been seeing someone for a while (3+ dates).

I detest wet, soft handshakes. A man who has soft hands and/or manicured nails ------- would give me second thoughts. Why he had hands/nails like that would make a difference (maybe he's a hand model?) I was married to someone who bit his nails, and that with the hangnails it caused could sometimes be uncomfortable(for me) .

No, I would not judge a man because of his hands. Notice them? Yep. I'm a hand girl. LOL =) But less than perfect hands are by no means a dealbreaker for me. As with any aspect of ourselves, though, we should take care of what God has given us, which in the area of hands means such things as keeping them clean, keeping nails trimmed, and using lotion as needed so that you don't hurt your girl with your sandpaper hands =) And I'm not saying they have to be completely perfect and manicured... just some basic hygiene and care. They don't have to baby soft but if a guy is going to stroke my cheek or the back of my neck or something, I imagine that it could be unpleasant if his hands were super rough. Basically, I just wouldn't want his touch to hurt, so as long as hands are soft enough to not do damage, it's fine!

I like hands too but...not all manicured or anything. Put it this way, sometimes the guys at work have dirt under their nails and the nails need to be clipped, I usually say something about it. I think men should keep their hands clean and nails cut short. That's all.

it looks strange when they are manicured :) not manly enough maybe lol

I like a man who is well groomed all the way around. I admire a man that has rough hands from hard work, as long as he handles the cleanliness (dirt under nails) when he gets home.

Use some lotion please!!

yes yes yes

hard work/manual labour is more than ok, just please clean your nails after you're done for the day. Don't bite them, use scissors/a clipper! And use some hand cream - it does not hurt and I am not going to think you're a gay! :dunce:

Manicure - like basic hand&nail care or polishing and stuff? The first one is fine, the other is not! Leave it for us girls :applause:

I love men's hands. Especially hard workin ones. I think it's a tell tale sign of whether he's willing to work hard.
