Admin	What is best way to be a minister of reconcillation to woman caught in a trespass? Posted : 18 Oct, 2010 01:01 PM This question depends on things, so... 1) If the woman is a family member 2) If the woman is someone you knew in the past, but lost touch with 3) If the woman is deeply caught up in the trespass, for instance an active member of the Lesbian community, etc..?? Is she willing to let all that go? You will need to minister to the wounds in her life and take her thru repentance and forgiveness. Soul ties must be broken I would start there. Post Reply

These are dangerous waters to tread and you do not want to get dragged down into sin and suffering while trying to lift her out of sin and suffering. Get counsel from a pastor you trust. Maybe the pastor's wife would be willing to talk to the woman in question. Post Reply

If she's a family member, also tread carefully there. You don't want to cause a family to-do if you don't have to. But definitely talk to them, just as a family member, and find out how they're doing. Start by listening. Once you know more about where they are, you will know more about how to approach them. You can't always come at someone with hellfire and brimstone. It's best to start with understanding. I still recommend talking to your pastor. Another thing you could ask your pastor is if there are any women in the church who have been in the same trespass and came through back into reconciliation with Jesus. If there is, find out if she would be willing to help because she's been there. Post Reply

That only adds insult to the turmoil she is probably already in inside. Just be loving to her, and yeah, maybe seek advice from the church. Just remember that few battles are won by going in and telling somebody they are wrong. Post Reply

This also is stated in the bible..there is a order of things as well as far as handling a matter the way the Lord wants us to handle it. Nothing could be more perfect than that. The best thing you can do for her is get other women to help and love her -right where she is today..pray for her...and the Lord will heal her if she wants to be free-she shall be free. I would never advise a male to help a women alone, with these issues-for so may reasons Always remember People do not care how much you know until they know how much you care Post Reply

There is only one woman I now that is caught in a trespass. I first found out about this about two years ago. She has been caught in this trespass for nearly 20 years. She was a die hard young Christian woman who was an inspiration and example to many and even went to Bible College prior to getting caught. I am not in her life and have not seen her for years, I learned about this by reading up on things by accident, which I think was more than an accident, while reading a portion of a LA times story about Proposition 8, the California law against same sex marriages and double checked and triple checked and yep... she is in trouble and needs prayer. Please pray that our mighty and loving Lord would send mature, gentle and kind women, perhaps some who have been caught in the same sin. She is around women all day long... so God could find a way to send women her way, right? Thank you for your input, I value all the input I have received. Mike Post Reply
