Admin	When women wear tight clothing? Posted : 14 Dec, 2010 01:25 AM I was wondering the ladies thoughts on this and who better to ask. Ok, I notice alot of girls/women wear really tight clothing. Is this to draw attention to themselves more so than a fashion statement? Many women wear really tight jeans, slacks, shirts etc....they have to know this draws attention correct? Post Reply

Posted : 14 Dec, 2010 04:03 AM I don't know if you could call tight clothing a trend as it's been around for such a long time, if anything I would think baggy clothing is more trendy these days. I'm sure not all women wear tight clothing for the sole purpose of being noticed. I want a Christian woman's view on how she feels the majority of women who choose to wear tight clothing do so? I guess if I have any point or purpose to this thread is that regardless of what the reason she wears them she can't be offended if there are those whom may stare it her.....what could one expect? If you haven't gone shopping for women's clothing it is hard to understand how really HARD it is to find modest things --- for any age group Sometimes a woman will put something on because it is comfortable or she has worn it for a while -- and just not be aware of how tight it has gotten Some ladies like the attention Some ladies are more concerned with fashion and wearing new things and the latest styles than what is modest or looks best on them Just a few ideas -- my opinions. Tight is definitely "in" right now, and baggy is not. There also seems to be a fabric shortage going on...either fabric is missing from the top, or from the bottom, or from both areas, and once in a while there will even be some fabric missing from the middle. But I do think that women who choose to wear tight clothing are probably aware that it draws attention to their bodies. It is definitely possible to be both stylish and modest, and women can wear close-fitting clothes that flatter their figure rather than tight clothes that simply draw attention to it. Post Reply

I cant stand tight fitting clothes...I see women an girls of all ages dressing in ways that I find...well...Hoochy Mama...1st impressions are lasting...:rolleyes:...I do own 2 pair of skinny geans I wear with long sweaters & jackets & my boots. I'm not a trendy person, but do like certain trends, not to follow the crowd, but for my own taste. Like the skinny jeans with longer shirts or sweaters. Even in the bible days, you can find where queen Esther wore beautiful garments and jewels. Fabric was a big thing, and the wealthier ones had their silky, elaborate gowns in rich colors. God made women more like that, in my opinion. Maybe some women aren't, but the majority do like to be "cute" or pretty when they look in the mirror and let's face it, when going to a ladies function, we all ooh and ahh over the pretty outfits the other ones are wearing. Modesty is a big problem today, though, and will probably get worse as evil abounds. I have to say that men can be just as bad with the modesty issue, in some cases. Speedos at the beach! ewww! Those sagging jeans with the drawers half out? Not sexy, but a lot of the young girls like it. Post Reply
