I just realize the advertisement in cdff today when I logged in here.

Here's the site address: www.elitemeeting.com

Anyone ever notice that advertisement? Or even try it? Perhaps it would be a good place for scammers :rocknroll:

What do u think of the site? I personally haven't got any idea why would anyone create a site like that.. Errr :ribbit:

I think you have to be a millionare to be on the site. At least you would have to go through a background check.

CSI Miami just recently had an episode about a similar site.

Why would they create the site? The site most likely isn't like this one where it is a free-for-all. I am sure someone would have to go through a lot just to get a match.

I did when I was 21. The economy was bad and I was young but had 5 part time jobs at once and going part time to college. Worked for 2 electrical contractors and for myself, drove a tow truck picking up abandoned cars and worked nights at straw hat pizza in Santa Cruz. I met this nice Christian gal who also worked at straw hat pizza and was going to the same college. We liked each other and started dating. Then one day the penny dropped : she had a brand new car, exquisite furniture and apartment and only worked part time. I had 5 jobs and barely getting by. So I asked her about it. To which she teplied "we have to have a talk" which we did. She informed me that her grandfather had bought alot of company stock his whole life and when he passed away he left a million to her, a million to her brother and the rest of the millions to her parents. I have to confess, it made our relationship kinda wierd after that, I wish she wouldn't of told me until later. I sometimes wonder 'what if'.

Post Script : If I was a millionaire I would not say anything about it until the night before the wedding.

I'm not sure why, but the idea of dating or marrying a millionare just doesn't appeal to me. Give me a hard-working farmer any day!

I think when I hear millionare, I think Snob! May not be the case----- just my opinion.

Yep,Jesus Loves,i've seen that ad a lot on here myself. That ad is a way of promoting their company, but i do'nt think that they will have EVERYONE is a millionaire of course! Reminds me of a secular song i've heard last year,i do'nt like it, but the lyrics made me wonder if it could happen to one day."I want to be a billionaire so (very) bad, buying all the things i've never had.I want to be on the cover of Forbes magazine, smiling next to Oprah & the Queen".

I have dated a rich man before..... and come close a couple of times to others. I have found them to be very, very closed to talking about themselves, their jobs, their hobbies, etc. And the ones I met were very very careful about who they ever asked out.

They had nothing to fear from me at all --- but they never spent enough time with me to know that. Money comes, and money goes. A millionair does not truly impress me that much. If he earned a million each year by hard work and doing what he liked --- now THAT would be attractive. And impressive. I would not join a dating site (or service) that only accepted men who were millionaries.
