However I can help but wonder ...... ......wonder what the outcry would be if the posted topic was : What kind of "build" do you find most attractive for a women. And the answers went into the description of body parts like it has in the previous post. Do you think there would be a different response between the two posts? ie : one describing the best body parts and the other called carnal. Hmmm... Lets all be refreshingly honest....shall we....or can we? Post Reply

Posted : 11 Jan, 2011 10:12 PM I know you can spot some sports fairly easily (i.e. if a girl is 6'6" then she probably plays basketball), but picking what sport a girl plays is usually a lot harder to do. I can spot a guy built like a football player from across the room, but ask me to pick the volleyball player out of a group, and I doubt I could do it. Post Reply

(as you have noticed) :excited: Secondly, we ARE all carnal, although hopefully we are working against that and for Christlikeness. Third: the answers Were honest~which I guess could be problematic for some. I thought the posts were written in a way that would get responses. If posted differently, and the men were asked about body parts of women...it would have stayed empty...cause after all, we have Smart men on here! :glow: Post Reply

There are some men I have seen on the forums before who I could see getting offended by the responses on the "athletic builds women like" thread, but they have not gotten involved with it. Some women, in my opinion, got a little carried away with it and started bordering on the edge by making definitive comments about men being "short" or "scrawny". Wording is everything, and if a man made a similar thread asking what men liked women to look like, he would have to be very careful to reiterate that it is not the be-all, end-all, but then he would still probably get his butt cut off (I have no idea why I chose that analogy...) by some women. And just like women said they didn't like "short" or "scrawny", men could just as easily say they don't want women taller than them or "fat" or some other derogatory size-based word. I think a lot of it comes from what seems to be a popular idea system that men are "shallow" and put heavy emphasis on looks and that women are not and don't, so to have women say what they like a man's body to be like is probably seen as less relevant than what men would have to say about a woman's body.
