....it's only since I've done in depth reading of His Word recently regarding divorce, that I really discovered that there is a clear cut difference between "dating and courting". Dating is of course the worlds system of meeting and forming a relationship, but God's "mating" system of courting is something NOT left to the imagination! I can go into detail about it but I'd like to hear others....male and female, young and old.....prospective.........

Good topic for discussion.

Dating or courting, the purpose should be to find the right person to develop a relationship with for a potential marriage. We used to tell the teenagers every date should be a potential mate. If your considering dating/going out/spending time with a person, that person should have the qualifications of a potential spouse.

To Chivralry vs dating. This is all very good and I agree but you still fail to explain how one goes about courting. What does the man do while courting? What does the woman do?
