thatguy93a^ View Profile History	Wedding Posted : 28 Jun, 2023 01:49 PM it's a lot more then just in the decline. in the last 5-10 years not a single church on my town had a wedding. not one. at work we have a banquet hall we used to rent out for weddings. it was last rented out for a wedding 6 years ago. and it was 3 years before that. marriage is super rare theses days. Cuzzie1 View Profile History	Wedding Posted : 25 Apr, 2025 12:09 AM Its not money itself but the attitude towards money that can cause problems, particularly if both have differing views on giving, house,car, clothes, savings, etc etc... Thats why you find out the expectations around those things before gettimg too emotionally involved and definatly before marriage. I would have a relatively simple ceremony because at the end of the day it is not about the ceremony itself but the joining together of the 2 people to become husband and wife. If you are rich enough that you cant use that extra money to help pay off the morgage or put it towards a house deposit etc and help secure your future, then there are many good charities that can use it to help the less fortunate.
