Just wanted to give a reminder that it doesn't always have to be a war, and even then sometimes those battles are fought through rejoicing. Matthew 5:12: Jesus says, Blessed are you when people insult you, persecute you and falsely say all kinds of evil against you because of Me. REJOICE and be glad, because great is your REWARD in heaven!!" Luke 6:22,23: Jesus says, "Blessed are you when people hate you, when they exclude and insult you and reject your name as evil, because of the Son of Man. REJOICE in that day and LEAP FOR JOY because great is your REWARD in heaven!!" Luke 1:47: My soul glorifies the Lord and my spirit REJOICES in God my Savior. Luke 10:20: Jesus says, "REJOICE that your names are written in heaven!" John 16:22: Jesus says, "I will see you again and you will REJOICE, and no one will take away YOUR JOY!!" Acts 2:25,26: David said about Jesus, "I saw the Lord always before me, because He is at my right hand, I will not be shaken. Therfore my heart is glad and my tongue REJOICES.... You will fill me with JOY in Your presence!!" Romans 5:1-4: Since we have been justified through faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ through whom we have gained access by faith into this grace in which we now stand. And we REJOICE in the hope of the glory of God. Not only so, but we also REJOICE in our sufferings, because we know that suffering produces perseverance; perseverance, character; and character, hope. Romans 12:15: REJOICE with those who REJOICE!! 2 Corinthians 6:10: We are sorrowful yet ALWAYS REJOICING; poor yet making many rich; having nothing , and yet POSSESSING EVERYTHING! I Corinthians 13:6 Love does not delight in evil but REJOICES with the truth! Philippians 4:4: REJOICE in the Lord ALWAYS. I will say it again: REJOICE!! I Peter 1:4-6: This inheritance is kept in heaven for you, who through faith are shielded by God's power until the coming of salvation that is ready to be revealed in the last time! In this you greatly REJOICE! Revelation 19:6,7: Hallelujah! For our Lord God almighty reigns. Let us REJOICE and be glad and give Him glory! For the wedding of the LAMB has come, and the bride has made herself ready!! IS REJOICING AND JOY PART OF THE GOSPEL OF OUR LORD JESUS CHRIST?? Colossians 1:12,13: We give JOYFUL THANKS to the Father who has qualified us to share in the inheritance of His holy people in the Kingdom of Light. For He has rescued us from the dominion of darkness and brought us into the Kingdom of the Son He loves, in whom we have redemption and forgiveness of sins!! John 15:10,11: Jesus says, "If you keep My commands, you will remain in My love... I have told you this so that MY JOY may be in YOU and that your JOY may be complete!!" John 17:24: Jesus says, "Until now you have not asked for anything in My name. Ask and you will receive {If it is God's will}, and your JOY will be complete!!" Romans 14:17,18: For the Kingdom of God is not a matter of eating and drinking, but of righteousness, peace and JOY in the Holy Spirit, because anyone who serves Christ in this way is pleasing to God!! Romans 15:13: My the God of hope fill you with ALL JOY and peace as you trust in Him, so that you may overflow with hope by the power of the Holy Spirit!! Galatians 5:22 The fruit of the Spirit is love and JOY!! I Thessalonians 1:6: You became imitators of us and of the Lord, for you welcomed the message in the midst of severe suffering with the JOY given by the Holy Spirit!! I Thessalonians 5:16: REJOICE ALWAYS, pray continually, give thanks in all circumstances, for this is GOD'S WILL for you in Christ Jesus!! I Peter 1:7-9: This will result in praise, glory and honor when Jesus Christ is revealed. Though you have not seen Him, you love Him, and even though you do not see Him now, you believe in Him and are filled with an INEXPRESSIBLE AND GLORIOUS JOY, for you are receiving the end result of your faith, the salvation of your souls!! Jude 24,25: To Him who is able to keep you from stumbling and to present you before His glorious presence without fault and with GREAT JOY**--to the only God and Savior be glory, majesty, power and authority, through Jesus Christ our Lord, before all ages, now and forevermore!! Jesus exposed false teachers, He can still do it today. It is aggravating seeing false teachings in this world, but the says that the world will wax worse and worse, and there's nothing we can do to change it. All we can do is try to correct those who purposefully spread false doctrine. We should not expose those with anger in hearts, with the wisdom that is given to us by the Lord. And if that fails then we should pray for them to be saved. There is power in prayer, because we pray to a powerful God. Vengeance is mine sayth the Lord. Post Reply
