Sept 17 is Constitution Day. The first ten amendments, known as the Bill of Rights, give freedom to EVERYONE!!! One of these freedoms is Freedom of Religion; another is Freedom to peacefully asemble. Americans, exspecialy Christian Americans may not like it, but one of the best things about this country is we have the right to worship as we wish on public land, and in our homes.
This may inclued people who are not practicing the Christian religion.
When Americans start burning the books of people who are "Not Like Them" they come dangeriously close to violating the Bill of Rights. and for Isalamic American the Koran is part of those rights Debby
Excellent point Debra...That is what Freedom is about...Freedom of Religion is a most important part of the Bill of Rights�I don�t agree with the burning of the Koran obviously�Unfortunately and very sadly...because of these types of events...( Terrorism )...We as Christians and All other Religions and Faiths are being asked to make allowances that are based on our Offenses towards them as a whole�Hummmm...Excuse me...but ( Terrorists ) have Attacked My country...therefore they have Attacked me and my Freedom & Rights...and now they want me to willingly Allow them as the Enemy to Receive Special Treatment for being BAD...would you also like to sleep in my bed...:rolleyes:�
When Jesus* talked about loving our enemies�it wasn�t focused on or about Terrorists�it was about Hebrew/Jewish/Gentiles/Pharasees�etc�etc�that Rejected & Balked at the Good News & Gospel�Jesus*...
Lets Remember�it is written when He entered the outer gates of the Temple and saw the Offenses of turning GOD�s house of worship into a Den of Thieves�He Raised HOLY Rath with His own hands�
Let me ask yall a question here�If you were asked or told to remove the Cross you wear around your neck because it is Offending a Muslim, Jew, Atheist, New Age..etc..etc�Based on this same Freedom & Bill of Rights�Would you do it ???

And oh, something to consider. Where do our rights come from? According to the Declaration of independence, our rights are given to us by the Creator. Thus, the Declaration of Independence recognizes what is already present -- and these freedoms are therefore not guaranteed by law, by rather recognized by law; our laws implicitly hold that a power beyond law -- the Creator -- has created man with freedoms that naturally belong to him. In law, this is called the theory of "natural law".
Needless to say, Islam does not and cannot agree with the freedom of others to practice their own religion, for Islam mandates that everyone must become a Muslim, be oppressed (if the Muslims feel merciful), or die. Islam doesn't view non-Muslims as equals, which is why wherever Islam goes, Sharia law follows, which then results in slavery, murder, oppression of women, and oppression of all non-Muslims.
Look at what is happening in Europe, especially Britain and the scandinavian countries. The first think you'll see is a skyrocketing anti-semitism and violence against Jews. The next thing you'll see is a massive increase of rape, as the invader Muslims are raping the native women.
Wake up, folks. Islam is completely incompatible not only with freedom as JudeoChristian Americans understand it, this 7th-century death cult is incompatible with Western civilization as a whole.

Islam is a danger, that I would agree. But I believe it is a small danger. There are many more things out in society that are dangerous, many different kinds of groups of people that are dangerous. Just remember that Muslims are reacting against our degradation, our pornography, our feminism etc. Look at the financial ownership of the world and then start to understand what might be happening. Follow the money. Then you might get some real answers.
