Lets create a new topic(all pun intended)Posted : 29 Aug, 2013 07:20 PMIt always amazes me how many Christians will believe the Word of G-d and in factually say Y-shua is the final blood sacrifice and only through Him is the way of salvation. Yet, in the same breath not believe in a 7 day. Or think the world was recreated (the gap theory) in spite of the Scripture clearly saying death entered the world after the fall of man. ( if the Bible is correct about Y-shua, how can it be false about creation?) |

Lets create a new topic(all pun intended)Posted : 29 Aug, 2013 08:46 PMNow how can one not know how old the earth is? Did Y-shua make up some lies and tell the truth about being D-d in the flesh and He is are salvation? |

Lets create a new topic(all pun intended)Posted : 30 Aug, 2013 06:03 AMI do think that the "earth" itself could be very very old, the bible does not give a date when the earth was created, that creates an interesting explanation for the discrepancies in "science" today. The flood destroyed and mixed up everything that God originally created, so a very simple explanation is that the dead bodies of the animals and plants were buried in very old rocks. That explains the layers of the geological column very well, there is really no other explanation apart from a catastrophic flood, especially with the existence of polystrate fossils. And it also explains the extremely old and inconsistent dates we get from carbon dating, because everything buried in the old rocks was cross-contaminated. However, I believe the systems that actually support life were only created by God around 6,000 years ago, and then God created life. Death only began in the *entire Universe* after sin. I'm looking forward to finding all this out for sure, but I can promise everyone that the earth we see now is nothing like the earth God originally created. The people in the bible used to live 1,000 years for a reason, the plants and animals we see in the fossil record were much bigger for a reason. The concept of universalism and evolution is based on the idea that everything has always been continuing the same, and it hasn't. God created the world so perfectly, we're only just now beginning to understand what it could have been like. |
