"But I suffer not a woman to teach nor usurp authority over the man, but to be in silence." I Tim 2:12
PLEASE STOP TRYING TO TEACH A MAN, AND SIMPLY OBEY THE WORD OF GOD, AND THEN YOU WILL NOT BE WHINING TO ME, "YOU MADE ME CRY" OR "YOU ARE A CONTROL FREAK", WHEN ALL I AM DOING IS SIMPLY OBEYING WHAT IS WRITTEN!!!!!
All of your women, who do not want to simply obey what is written, regardless what your so-called "pastor" tells you, take your Bible and burn it, or throw it into the nearest garbage can. The men of the world would be better off, than to have you running up to him all the time, trying to teach him the scripture, when it forbids you to teach him.
If you are a real believer, you will simply obey the Word of God, no matter what 1,000,000 fake preachers tell you.

I do not try. I teach. LOL
But why?
Women are EQUAL to men!
Galatians 3:28
There is neither Jew nor Greek, there is neither slave nor free, there is NO male and female, for you are all one in Christ Jesus.
Women, just as much as men, are called to minister to others, to demonstrate the fruits of the Spirit (Galatians 5:22-23), and to proclaim the Gospel to the lost (Matthew 28:18-20; Acts 1:8; 1 Peter 3:15).
In Acts 18, Priscilla and Aquila are presented as faithful ministers for Christ. Priscilla and Aquila brought Apollos into their home and they both discipled him, explaining the Word of God to him more accurately (Acts 18:26).
Moreover, women have to teach other women (Titus 2:3-5).
That is why I go and teach unbelievers what the God of Israel said and proclaim the Gospel and CORRECT those who are deceived by their own misconceptions and I am going to do that.
Why do I do that and will do that? Because God commanded us to use this life time to bring Him Glory and extend His Kingdom on earth,

EZ, take a moment to reflect on the force and attitude you're projecting here. I would say that according to the bible, you should not be teaching anything as well. Teachers/Leaders are supposed to be gentle and longsuffering, among many other things, and no one should recommend trashing the word of God to anyone.

BTW, there is no where in the Bible wherein God has given men authority over women, this is speaking about men being placed in authority of the household and over the church. God exhorts women to obey their OWN husband, and not have authority over them because God placed men over the garden which is also symbolic of the church.
But no where does God place men to have authority over women outside the home or church...
There are plenty commentaries online wherein you can go read ...
Many present their personal opinions on the topic, not understanding what or why Paul is speaking such, nor knowing that there were women in the church who were prophetess.
But if you have a study Bible you will find in it what Paul is speaking about in I Timothy chapter 2, also online commentaries regarding what you're seeking.
The contemporary debate seems to turn on the question of the rule's limits of applicability, local and temporary versus universal and timeless. And the determining factor usually ends up being the interpretation of Paul's use of the Genesis allusions. But there is more to be considered.
First, the passage must be assessed within the whole of Paul's teaching, and particularly in light of other statements he made about the relationship of men and women (and husbands and wives). Those of position 2, in attempting to understand the relevance of 1 Timothy 2:11-15 for today, have rightly pointed to a Pauline theme of equality within the social structure, as registered by the triad of texts Galatians 3:28, 1 Corinthians 12:13 and Colossians 3:11. Further, it is certainly arguable that Paul's acknowledgment of the role of women in his ministry (Rom 16:1; Phil 4:3) and in the church's worship (1 Cor 11:10) is the outworking of that principle of equality. The apparent discordant note struck in the present passage (and in 1 Cor 14:33-35) should alert us to the fact that Paul's program of social equality was not unconditional, but it does not necessarily nullify the basic principle. As F. F. Bruce explained, in Galatians 3:28 "Paul states the basic principle . . . if restrictions on it are found elsewhere . . . they are to be understood in relation to Gal. 3:28, and not vice versa" (1982:190).

Some information for you on women:
How to treat women in the church?
Older women as mothers, younger as sisters, with all purity.
a. Older women are to be treated as mothers, with the respect and honor due their age; a young pastor must accept - and appreciate - some amount of mothering from some of the older women in the church, and it is proper to give them honor as such.
b. The younger women are to be treated as sisters; Timothy, as any godly man, was to always make certain his conduct towards younger women was always pure and above reproach. A godly man is not flirtatious, provocative, and does not use double entendre' (witty words that can be taken in a flirtatious or provocative way).
How to treat widows and those in need?
The general principle: help the needy who are truly in need.
Honor widows who are really widows.
1) Honor widows: In the days the New Testament was written, there was no social "safety net" at all. And, if there was any one class of people who were vulnerable, it was elderly widows, who were without means of support from husbands or grown children, and without means to adequately support themselves - those who are really widows.
The principles revealed here are extremely relevant today, when many look to the church as a place where the poor and needy should be able to come for financial help.

If Paul had been interested in following the teachings and examples of Jesus he would not have been such a religious fanatic and would have been more interested in loving his neighbor rather than being hung up on rules and ritual. You must keep in mind that the New Testament is not Scripture and therefore it is mostly written for the intended recipient of the letter with a tremendous amount of personal opinion and commentary rather than the actual words of God as is the Old testament.
When this idea is lined up against the teachings of Jesus it really has nothing to do with anything He said or did. Of course, like so many other people so focused on the rules rather than the intent, you will not let go of this topic. It would seem that you would know by now that you have convinced no one that you are right and you are only rattling the chains of your religious bondage at us. We get it. Find something else to talk about.

EZ you sure demonstrate much zeal!
I hope you receive this in the right spirit, but your post represents a classic textbook case of overlooking one of the central rules of literary interpretation. Correct Biblical interpretation of a passage of Scripture requires a comprehensive look at the entire context. The passage from 1 Timothy you cited has relevance only with regards to church leadership.
