A Celebration of Evil
Halloween is a religious day, but it is not Christian. Tom Sanguinet, a former high priest in Wicca has said: �The modern holiday that we call Halloween has its origins in the full moon closest to November 1, the witches� new year. It is a time when the spirits (demons) are supposed to be at their peak power and revisiting planet earth� Halloween is purely and absolutely evil, and there is nothing we ever have, or will do, that would make it acceptable to the Lord Jesus.�
Day of Death
Halloween has strong roots in paganism and witchcraft. It began as the Druid festival of Samhain. The Celts considered November 1st the day of death, because, in the Northern hemisphere, this was the beginning of winter, the leaves were falling, it was getting darker earlier, and temperatures were dropping. They believed that their sun god was losing strength and Samhain, the lord of death, was overpowering the sun god. The druids also taught that on 31 October, on the eve of the feast, Samhain assembled the spirits of all who had died during the previous year to return to their former home to visit the living.
Human and Animal Sacrifices
On Halloween, for thousands of years, druid priests have conducted diabolical worship ceremonies in which cats, horses, sheep, oxen, human beings and other offerings were rounded up, stuffed into wicca cages and burned to death. These human and animal sacrifices were apparently required to appease Samhain and keep the spirits from harming them.
Trick or Treat
To obtain these sacrifices, druid priests would go from house to house asking for fatted calves, black sheep and human beings. Those who gave were promised prosperity, and those who refused to give were threatened and cursed. This is the origin of �trick or treat.�
Jack-O-Lantern
The Jack-O-Lantern has its origin in the candle-lit pumpkin or skull, which served as a signal to mark those farms and homes that supported the druids� religion, and thus were seeking the �treat� when the terror of Halloween began. The World Book Encyclopedia says: �The apparently harmless lighted pumpkin face of the Jack-O-Lantern is an ancient symbol of a damned soul.�
Dance of Death
While people and animals were screaming in agony, being burnt to death, the druids and their followers would dress in costumes made of animal skins and heads. They would dance, chant and jump through the flames in the hope of warding off evil spirits.
House of Horrors
One of the popular heroes of Halloween, Count Dracula, was also a real person. Dracula lived from 1431 to 1476. During his six year reign, Count Dracula massacred over 100,000 men, women and children in the most hideous ways. He devised a plan to rid his country of the burden of beggars, the handicapped, the sick and the aged by inviting them to a feast at one of his palaces. He fed them well and got them drunk. Then he asked them: �Do you want to be without cares, lacking nothing in the world?� When his guests yelled: �Yes!� Dracula ordered the palace boarded up and set on fire. No one escaped this original �house of horror.�
The Word of God
�When thou art come into the land which the Lord thy God giveth thee, thou shalt not learn to do after the abominations of those nations. There shall not be found among you any one that maketh his son or his daughter to pass through the fire, or that useth divination, or an observer of times, or an enchanter or a witch, or a charmer, or a consulter with familiar spirits, or a wizard, or a necromancer. For all that do these things are an abomination unto the Lord: and because of these abominations the LORD thy God doth drive them out from before thee. Thou shalt be perfect with the LORD thy God. For these nations, which thou shalt possess, hearkened unto observers of times, and unto diviners: but as for thee, the LORD thy God hath not suffered thee so to do� (DEUTERONOMY 18:9-14).
�� teach my people the difference between the holy and profane, and cause them to discern between the unclean and the clean� (EZEKIEL 44:23).
�My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge. Because thou hast rejected knowledge, I will also reject thee, that thou shalt be no priest to me: seeing thou hast forgotten the law of thy God, I will also forget thy children� (HOSEA 4:6).

�But whoso shall offend one of these little ones which believe in me, it were better for him that a millstone were hanged about his neck, and that he were drowned in the depth of the sea. Woe unto the world because of offenses! for it must needs be that offences come, but woe to that man by whom the offense cometh!� (MATTHEW 18:6-7)

�Let us therefore cast off the works of darkness, and let us put on the armour of light� (ROMANS 13:12).
�Ye cannot drink the cup of the Lord, and the cup of devils; ye cannot be partakers of the Lord�s table, and the table of devils� (1 CORINTHIANS 10:21).
�Be ye not unequally yoked together with unbelievers: for what fellowship hath righteousness with unrighteousness? And what communion hath light with darkness? And what concord hath Christ with Belial? Or what part hath he that believeth with an infidel? And what agreement hath the temple of God with idols?� Wherefore come out from among them, and be ye separate, saith the Lord, and touch not the unclean thing; and I will receive you� (2 CORINTHIANS 6:14-17).
�And have no fellowship with the unfruitful works of darkness, but rather reprove them� (EPHESIANS 5:11).
�Finally, brethren, whatsoever things are true, whatsoever things are honest, whatsoever things are just, whatsoever things are pure, whatsoever things are lovely, whatsoever things are of good report, if there be any virtue, and if there be any praise, think on these things� (PHILIPPIANS 4:8).
�Now the Spirit speaketh expressly, that in the latter times some shall depart from the faith, giving heed to seducing spirits, and doctrines of devils, speaking lies in hypocrisy, having their conscience seared with a hot iron� (1 TIMOTHY 4:1-2)
�Submit yourselves therefore to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you� (JAMES 4:7).
�Pure religion and undefiled before God and the Father is this: to visit the fatherless and widows in their affliction, and to keep himself unspotted from the world� (JAMES 1:27).
�Beloved, follow not that which is evil, but that which is good. He that doeth good is of God, but he that doeth evil hath not seen God� (3 JOHN 11)
Participating in Paganism
Instead of participating in paganism, walking with Wicca, being in harmony with Halloween, having our children celebrate cruelty, and dabbling in a day of death, we should focus our family and congregation on celebrating Reformation Day this 31 October.
Reformation Day vs Halloween
It was on 31 October 1517, that Dr. Martin Luther nailed the 95 Theses on the door of the Schlosskirche (castle church) in Wittenberg, Germany. His bold challenge against the unBiblical practices of the medieval Roman papacy inspired the Protestant Reformation. All Bible believing churches should celebrate the greatest revival of Faith and freedom ever. The Reformation was one the most important turning points in world history. The energies that were released by the rediscovery of the Bible in the common tongue led to the most extraordinary spiritual Revival in history. The Reformation freed the Christians of Northern Europe from the decadence of Renaissance paganism and led to the greatest freedoms and scientific discoveries in history.
Every Bible believing Christian should celebrate the Reformation. No Christian should have part in celebrating the occultic Halloween.
We are in a spiritual world war. Cruelty to animals, vandalism and even murders occur with far greater frequency during Halloween. Every Halloween many thousands of animals, and even people, are sacrificed in satanic rituals worldwide, while millions of other people, including well meaning Christians, participate in Halloween celebrations. Halloween is a prime recruiting time for witches and Satanists. Many people have testified that they were introduced to the occult at a Halloween party. Halloween is very religious, but it is not Christian.
�Be not overcome of evil, but overcome evil with good� (ROMANS 12:21).
Choose Life
This 31 October, take a stand against Halloween by mobilizing your family and congregation to celebrate the Reformation, and to engage in spiritual warfare, earnest prayer, praying the Psalms, and sharing the Gospel with our friends and neighbors, particularly those who may be unthinkingly participating in this cultic celebration of divination, necromancy, human sacrifice and cruelty to animals.
�Finally, my brethren, be strong in the Lord, and in the power of his might. Put on the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil. For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places. Wherefore take unto you the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand. Stand therefore, having your loins girt about with truth, and having on the breastplate of righteousness, and your feet shod with the preparation of the gospel of peace. Above all, taking the shield of faith, wherewith ye shall be able to quench all the fiery darts of the wicked. And take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God; praying always with all prayer and supplication in the Spirit, and watching thereunto with all perseverance and supplication for all saints� (EPHESIANS 6:10-18).
I won't take part in any of the pagan holidays, Halloween, Christmas, Easter, Good Friday, etc.
Deuteronomy 12
3 Break down their altars, smash their sacred stones and burn their Asherah poles in the fire; cut down the idols of their gods and wipe out their names from those places. 4 You must not worship YHVH your God in their way... 8 You are not to do as you do here today, everyone doing as they see fit!... 28 Be careful to obey all these regulations I am giving you, so that it may always go well with you and your children after you, because you will be doing what is good and right in the eyes of YHVH your God... be careful not to be ensnared by inquiring about their gods, saying, �How do these nations serve their gods? We will do the same.� 31 You must not worship YHVH your God in their way, because in worshiping their gods, they do all kinds of detestable things YHVH hates.
I celebrate the ordained times:
The Feast of Passover was a shadow of the Messiah�s sacrifice,
The Sabbath his resurrection,
The Feast of First Fruits his offering of those who rose from the grave on Passover when he was executed,
The Feast of Pentecost/Shavuot his sending of the Spirit of YHVH, writing the Law on our Hearts not abolishing it,
The Feast of Trumpets his return,
The Day of Atonement his liberating and atoning for creation,
The Feast of Sukkoth his birth and then the beginning of his kingdom on Earth for a 1,000 years.
Thank you brother and sisters in Christ. This time of year I get asked a lot by all the lil kidlets in my area "Are you going to give out candy"?...and of course I say "Nope!"...they always ask why and I always take the time to explain to them just what I posted here and I will quote one of these same Scriptures and even show them where it is in the Bible if they are interested...and some are (SMILE)...Praise God!!! I keep a Bible on my Porch for this very purpose. Children are Precious to the LORD and many have no one who speaks of the LORD at all...ever...its really sad...the Kidlets don't know that they are able to "own" a Bible and read it for them selves...and that it is because of this one event in history that the LORD caused...and the LORD is so very Good!!!
Of course, I have no intention of allowing Holloween to come and go without revealing the truth behind it. But the truth of Holloween is not simply that it is a pagan ritual. The truth is that Halloween is at the very root cause of the Catholic Church being led astray AND the rift that led to God reclaiming His church from what would become the False Religion.
Before I get to that, let's take a look at the power of Holloween in the USA:
Derrived from:
3000 year old Keltic ritual beginning in ancient Ireland to honor the night the dead roamed the Earth. Satan's "harvest".
Impact:
7 billion dollar per year mega-holiday in the USA. Second only to the Chistmas.
The Apple:
The symbol of Halloween is that of the Satanic "harvest"... the apple. When cut in half the center of the apple displays a 5-pointed star... the pentagram. The symbol of Satan. It is the origin of bobbing for apples etc. All Satanic rituals.
Satan's Attempt to Conquor the Church
Most people acknowlege the pagan origin of Halloween. What most people do not know, is that Halloween is one of Satan's most successful attempts at poluting and eventually taking over the Church. Halloween is at the very center of Satan's successful bid to conquor the Catholic Church.
The Catholic Church Surrenders to Satan
In 600 AD, Pope Gregory gave in to the influence Satan had over pagan peoples. The Church's efforts to evangelize these pagans were not as easy as the Pope would like and the Pope desired to expand his influence. Even if it meant denying the Messiah and worshipping dead spirits... demons.
In an effort to "expedite" the expansion of "Catholic" Christianity and further the influence of the Catholic Church, Pope Gregory admitted defeat to the pagan ritual of Samhaim which was celebrated on October 31 in worship to dead spirits.... DEMONS.
Since pagans would not give up their worship of dead "spirits", Pope Gregory simply instituted a "Christian Holy Day" to accomodate the pagan beliefs and worship of dead spirits in order to remove the pagan's resistance to Christianity. This "Holy Day" was ordered by Pope Gregory to be instituted into the Catholic Church called "All Saints Day" or "All Hallows Day" to be celebrated on Nov. 1 followed by "All Souls Day" or "Day of the Dead" to be celebrated on Nov. 2.. Hense, October 31 became known as All Hallow's Eve or Halloween. Now the pagans had no reason not to be "Christian" because "Christianity" has become a false front for paganism.
So, instead of the Church converting pagans, the Church surrendered and began worshiping the dead officially and called the dead demonic spirits... "Saints". So in effect, pagan worship of Satan evangelized the Catholic Church. Instead of the other way around.
The VERY FIRST HALLOWEEN was celebrated as a dedication to the Catholic god... The Virgin Mary:
All Saints' Day (a.k.a. All Hallows' Day) on NOV-1. The holiday was first celebrated on 609-MAY-13 CE when Pope Boniface IV dedicated the Pantheon in Rome to the Virgin Mary. The date was later changed to NOV-1 by Pope Gregory III who dedicated a chapel in honor of All Saints in the Vatican Basilica. Pope Gregory IV (827-844) later extended the feast to the whole church. The Eastern Orthodox churches celebrate All Saints Day in the springtime -- the Sunday after Pentecost.
All Souls' Day (a.k.a. the Day of the Dead) on NOV-2. This is a day for prayer and almsgiving in memory of ancestors who have died. Believers pray for the souls of the dead, in an effort to hasten their transition from Purgatory to Heaven. It is primarily celebrated by Roman Catholics. The day is believed to have been selected by "St. Odilo, the fifth abbot of Cluny...France because he wanted to follow the example of Cluny in offering special prayers and singing the Office of the Dead on the day following the feast of All Saints." 4
It was Satan's high holy day... and now... adapted by the Catholic Church it led to the idolatry of worshipping "Saints" or "dead spirits". It was literally Halloween that Satan used to conquor the Catholic Church to form the False Religion of today.
Halloween Leads to the Reformation and Yahusha Reclaims His Church
Later in history in a twist of predestination, it was Halloween that God used to reclaim His church. In 1517 Martin Luther led the Reformation on HALLOWEEN as he published his 95 Thesis condemning the Catholic Church's pagan origin and idolatry of Halloween itself. Halloween became the very reason behind the split between Catholicism and the Protestant movement as Yahusha gave the reformers insight that reclaimed His church from Satan's grasp. Satan's Holy Day of Halloween retained its spiritual grasp of the Catholic Church while the Protestant Church turned the day against Satan and celebrated the very day Yahusha regained His Church and liberated His true Saints. Known as Reformation Day...
Some Protestants celebrate Reformation Day. This is the anniversary of 1517-OCT-31 CE, the day that Martin Luther's published his 95 theses. These were criticisms of beliefs and practices of the Roman Catholic church, particularly related to the sale of indulgences. He is widely believed to have published them in a dramatic manner, by nailing them to the door of Castle Church in Wittenberg, Germany. Actually, that never happened. He did write a letter to his superiors attacking the sale of indulgences; the 95 theses were merely appended to the letter. This triggered for the Protestant Reformation, leading to a decades-long war in Europe, enmity between Catholics and Protestants, and the fracture of Christianity into thousands of individual faith groups.
So as we can see, Satan conquored the Catholic Church on HALLOWEEN. And Yahusha reclaimed His Church... on HALLOWEEN.
So there you have it. I would not in any way shape form or fashion, worship Satan by celebrating this, Satan's most high holy day...
