There was no State-Issued Marriage License until the 1920s: https://mattwilson32.wordpress.com/2015/06/30/the-ugly-history-of-the-marriage-license-in-america/ People [men and women] are now running around looking to find someone to enter into a fiduciary contract with the State, for financial purposes. That is all "a State-Issued Marriage License" is. In fact, most do not know that this "license" is actually a three-way contract, the man, the woman, and the State, all three entering into a fiduciary agreement. The Man and the Woman are agreeing that the State has control over the dissolution of their agreement. Some actually call "the State-Issued Marriage License", "an LLC, or Limited Liability Corporation", which is granted by the State, and may be dissolved by the State, whenever either party agrees to end this corporation/charter. I talked about it before....i read in the Bible about a certificate of divorce but not about a marriage certificate? Also, the name of any religion or church...is that Biblical? Shalom Post Reply

Jesus said give to Cesaer what is his and give to God what is his. No where does the bible say the state can not issue a marriage license. We are to obey the law of the land as long as it does not violate our faith. Post Reply

Posted : 22 Oct, 2016 08:09 AM It is for the sake of family, children..... that is "under the law"....but when it is about keeping the sabbath, people say they are not under the law anymore. really???? while keeping the sabbath sets us free, and so many worldly LAWS keep us bounded. Thru the marriage license the states have infiltrated the privacy of the family, to take control of each family as the family is now under the laws of each state. These laws make slaves of the people as they live in fear of breaking laws, then being prosecuted. Messiah makes men free from the Law of GOD Almighty and free from the laws of men. Whom the Son makes free, they are free indeed. I think you had better read, then reread Romans chapter 13, I think you have been listening to men for too long, and not the Word of GOD Almighty.
