Did Messiah Yeshua celebrate ' christmas '

Hello everyone.
Did anyone in the New Covenant celebrate 'christmas' ?
Is there anywhere in the Word of GOD where we are told to celebrate ' christmas'
Did Paul, Peter,James,John or any other of those with Messiah celebrate christmas, NO, Then why do the 'christians ' celebrate something not found in the Word of GOD Almighty?
We are told to proclaim His death when we break bread.
Luke 1:30-35: The angel said to her, "Do not be afraid, Mary, you have found favor with God. You will be with child and give birth to a Son, and you are to give Him the name Jesus. He will be great and will be called the Son of the Most High. The Lord God will give Him the throne of His father David and He will reign over the house of Jacob forever, His kingdom will never end." "How will this be," Mary asked the angel, "since I am a virgin?" The angel answered, "The Holy Spirit will come upon you, and the power of the Most High will overshadow you. So the Holy One to be born will be called the Son of God!"
Luke 2:5-14:Joseph went to Bethlehem to register with Mary, who was pledged to be married to him and was expecting a child. While they were there, the time came for the baby to be born, and she gave birth to her firstborn, a son. She wrapped Him in cloths and placed him in a manger, because there was no room for them at the inn. And there were shepherds living out in the fields nearby, keeping watch over their flocks at night. An angel of the Lord appeared to them, and the glory of the Lord shone around them, and they were terrified. But the angel said to them, "Do not be afraid. I bring you **GOOD NEWS OF GREAT JOY** that will be for **ALL PEOPLE**! **TODAY** in the town of David **A SAVIOR HAS BEEN BORN TO YOU**, He is Christ the Lord!! This will be a sign to you. You will find a baby wrapped in cloths and lying in a manger." Suddenly a great company of the heavenly host appeared with the angel, praising God and saying, "**GLORY TO GOD IN THE HIGHEST AND ON EARTH PEACE TO MEN ON WHOM HIS FAVOR RESTS**!"
And so it certainly is okay for God's saints to celebrate the birth of their Savior. But to call this day **CHRIST **MAS** is certainly wrong since the Roman Catholic mass or mess is certainly not of God. Celebrating the birth of Jesus on December 25th is also wrong since the pagan Feast of Yul is from midnight, December 24th to Midnight December 31st, where there is a drunken orgy and pagan feast in the week before the beginning of the pagan new year; and December 25th is the first day of this pagan orgy. The pagan Roman Catholic Church picked this day in an attempt to combine pagan Roman celebrations with Christian celebrations
The birth of Jesus was most likely on December 2nd but it is certainly okay to celebrate the birthday of our Savior on any and every day of the year.
"Did anyone in the New Covenant celebrate 'christmas' ? "
No

No

Because we can. We celebrate birthdays, Thanksgiving (we're not told to 'celebrate' it, just be it), job promotions, and all kinds of things in our lives that we have the freedom to celebrate.
Does God say anywhere in the Bible that it is forbidden to celebrate Christmas? No, He does not. And regardless of the origins of the festival/holiday, I am not a pagan, and I can assure you that I give absolutely no thought to any pagan deities when I do celebrate Christmas. However, I never lied to my children about Santa Claus. They were taught the historical legends of such a man, but I made sure they understood all the supernatural events/powers surrounding Santa Clause are not true.
Absolutely yes. His Dad threw a party for Him and invited some wise men and some shepherds and even sent out invitations by angel. And they brought gifts and they celebrated. And we know that the Jews kept track of birthdays, otherwise, how do we know how old all of these people are for whom ages are indicated in scripture? Think Abram and Sarah, and Jesus when He was 12 years old and teaching in the temple You bet your boots they celebrated Christmas, Christmas being the day Christ was born on earth. John the Baptizer even started celebrating before Christmas, as God says he leaped in Elizabeth's womb for joy, when Mary greeted Elizabeth.
Now, do we celebrate Christmas on the right day (a totally different question though related)?
Who knows but God? It seems there is good reason to believe no. But He was born, and it is the annual celebration to mark His coming to earth that we celebrate, not the particular day. We are celebrating the fact that He came, not the particular day. We are worshiping the Christ, not the day.
And shame on anyone who does not celebrate His coming.
The wise men did not travel to celebrate a birthday, they had traveled in order to WORSHIP Him which had been born the King of the Jews.
Messiah says to REMEMBER ( Have a memorial ) partaining to His death.
Now i find it sooooop aad that when the ' christians ' supposedly gather to worship Messiah, that they have nothing to say, not even 1 verse of Scripture with which to edify the believers; YET these same people have plenty to speak about concerning buying a gift for someone.
And thou shalt have joy and gladness; and many shall rejoice at his birth.
rejoice - charō, khah'-ee-ro; a primary verb; to be "cheer"ful, i.e. calmly happy or well-off; impersonally, especially as salutation (on meeting or parting), be well:farewell, be glad, God speed, greeting, hall, joy(- fully), rejoice.
So they shall cheer His birth
Celebrate - verb
1 to proclaim the glory of <a personal essay that celebrates the single life>
2 to mark with an appropriate practice, rite, or ceremony <a mixed family that celebrates both the Christian and Jewish religious holidays>
Synonyms keep, commemorate, observe
Related Words bless, consecrate, sanctify, solemnize; fete (or fte), honor, laud, praise; memorialize, remember
Near Antonyms blow off, disregard, forget, ignore, neglect, overlook
Antonyms break, transgress, violate
So, celebrate sure does sound like rejoice, based on these definitions.
However, this is what God forbids. Broad stroke accusations leveled against the saints for things such as what day to worship, which is specifically identified as sin in Colossians. Is it your job to be a legalistic accuser of the brethren? Are you able to tell the motives of every person who celebrates Christ's coming on December 25 and say every last one is in sin?
"16 Let no man therefore judge you in meat, or in drink, or in respect of an holyday, or of the new moon, or of the sabbath days:
17 Which are a shadow of things to come; but the body is of Christ.
18 Let no man beguile you of your reward in a voluntary humility and worshipping of angels, intruding into those things which he hath not seen, vainly puffed up by his fleshly mind,
19 And not holding the Head, from which all the body by joints and bands having nourishment ministered, and knit together, increaseth with the increase of God."
I celebrate Christmas as being the coming of Christ to earth for the salvation of men. I'm not worshiping trees or moons or anything other than the risen Lord of the universe. I do not let you judge me, in obedience to this command in Colossians 2.

Yashua was not born on the day that Sun worshipers use to celebrate the sun god. These "wise men" that you speak of were astrologers. I find it interesting that they knew that the King of Israel had been born; as those who should have most easily recognized him, stood in oblivion.
YHWH says not to worship him in the ways of the pagans.
Long time, no see. I found my wife on this website; and we are living happily ever after. I'm just here to revisit the forums. i asked my wife if she would disapprove.
That said, I've started a forum to share with those who seek the truth..
It would be an honor to have you join us. I tried to contact you with a personal message; but I'm not sure if it went through.
