Parts of the Revelation of Yochanan, so closely resemble parts of the Book Hanok; that had not the Book of Hanok been so widely known, at the time of the writing of the Revelation of Yochanan, one might have accused him of plagiarism. I would make no such claim. I would surmise that Yahweh revealed the truth to both Hanok and Yochanan.
The Book of Enoch, chapters 91:13-17 and 93:1-13, is also very similar to the prophetic writings found in the books of Daniel, Ezekiel, Isaiah, and Obadiah.
Yahshua's own brother, and Apostle, Judah, calls the Book of Enoch to reference in his letter to the followers of Yahshua.
(CLV) Ju 1:14
Now Enoch, the seventh from Adam, prophesies to these also, saying, "|Lo~! the Lord came among ten thousand of His saints,

to do judging against all, and to expose all the irreverent concerning all their irreverent acts in which they are irreverent, and concerning all the hard words which irreverent sinners speak against Him."
Through dismissing Hanok as a credible witness, how can Judah retain his credibility?
Reception
The Book of Enoch was considered as scripture in the Epistle of Barnabas (16:4)[23] and by many of the early Church Fathers, such as Athenagoras,[24] Clement of Alexandria,[25] Irenaeus[26] and Tertullian,[27] who wrote c. 200 that the Book of Enoch had been rejected by the Jews because it contained prophecies pertaining to Christ.[28] However, later Fathers denied the canonicity of the book, and some even considered the Epistle of Jude uncanonical because it refers to an "apocryphal" work.[29]

So again why was the Book of Hanok suppressed by the Pagan Council of Nicea?
That site raises some interesting points. I started reading he transcript; but the site lost credibility, early on, whne I saw this:
"The Bible as we have it today is what we know we can trust, it is the truth we can be sure of, it is the only standard of measure we have for everything else. As for anything else, the true test is how does it line up with the Bible, not its history, or conspiracy surrounding it, which can be argued either way, and gives no conclusive final answer. What does the Bible itself say as to whether First Enoch should be accepted? Does it line up with the Bible, or contradict it, and does the Bible itself make a case for Enoch or against it?"
Well now, doesn't that statement seem to contradict scripture?
(CLV) Jer 8:8
How can you |say, We are wise, And the law of Yahweh is with us? Surely, behold, the false pen of the scribes has made a falsehood.
.....even in the time of Jeremiah.....and then there's the Critical text...
If this guy digs any deeper into the truth; I fear that he might throw out the whole Bible before he finds it.
Anyway, thanks for the URL. There are some very interesting assertions on that site which motivate me to dig deeper into this this subject than I had expected
Is not the canonize 66 books sufficient for our faith, by the will of GOD, and not man?
What is important for Christians, is that it is written, "Live by faith and not by sight."
And it is also written, 'GOD, at sundry times and in divers manner spake in time pass unto the fathers by the prophets, Hath in these last days spoken unto us by HIS SON, whom HE hath appointed heir of all things, by whom also HE made the worlds;............'
May GOD the FATHER of our LORD JESUS CHRIST bless all of you.
"Is not the canonize 66 books sufficient for our faith, by the will of GOD, and not man?"
==============================
Books sufficient for faith?
Faith preceded each of the authors, writing any of those books. Had it not; those books would have been written in vain. Put not your faith in books. That would be idolatry. Put your faith in Yahweh!
What would lead you believe that the Canon, in the form that exists, was created by the will of "GOD," and not by the will of man?
What would lead you to believe that the wills of any who might have played a part in the creation of that Canon, were necessarily, mutually exclusive?
I anxiously await your reply.
I'm sure that I'll find your answers to be very interesting.
What I've learned and been told is It was not included because it spoke more about the fallen angel's and their "original sin"...
Nephillim...their names and positions...what they taught human kind...how to use metal to make weapons...astrology...etc...etc...etc...
Enoch's visions...dreams...journeys...triangle star gates...
In essence it is all about much more than the lil bits it speaks of the coming of "the son of man" or "son of God"...the Messiah...Yahshua aka Jesus...
Even the Jews do not include it into their sacred Scriptures which is kinda strange because the Talmud and Misnah are volumious collections of oral "traditions" and "stories"...one would think of all people the Jews would keep it because it is Enoch's story that was/is orally as well as written and passed on ...
The Talmud has two components; the Mishnah (Hebrew: משנה, c. 200 CE), a written compendium of Rabbinic Judaism's Oral Torah; and the Gemara (c. 500 CE), an elucidation of the Mishnah and related Tannaitic writings that often ventures onto other subjects and expounds broadly on the Hebrew Bible. "Talmud" translates literally as "instruction" in Hebrew, and the term may refer to either the Gemara alone, or the Mishnah and Gemara together.

These writings were written after Yahshua.
In my opinion, most Jews had gone astray at the time of Yahshua; but since then have strayed even further.
Karaite Jews seem to be on the right track; however they don't accept Yahshua.
First of all in faith, it is not a book but 'The Book' - 'Biblica'. The All Scripture within comes from the inspiration of GOD in these last days through HIS SON, the chosen Apostles and the church in New Testament. And also since the TORAH by Moses, the Prophets and the congregation of Israel in Old Testament. Henceforth, 'All Scripture = HOLY BIBLE' is 'profitable', for teaching, for reproof, for correction, and for instruction in righteousness: That man of GOD may be perfect, thoroughly furnished unto all good works. And, 'For faith come from hearing and hearing the word of GOD.' For the word of GOD 'within' speaks in 'Testaments', to all that has been said, even by HIS own words, and has happened, even HIS own actions. And is also saying and are happening to the end. Ignorantly accusing us of 'worshiping' the book and committing 'idolatry', is 'false' and of 'falsehood'. Jesus said, "You will recognize them by their fruits."
Second in faith, the TORAH and the Prophets in beginning was 'orally' spoken to the congregation of Israel, and later have been written down into 'The Book'. And for the future generations to come, not to loose touch in their Covenantal' teaching of GOD by Moses and the Prophets. Moreover as a reminder and a stir up of memory to them at all times. And therefore likewise the New Testament, do 'perceive' it's making as well the same. For it is written; 'GOD is not an author of confusion but of peace.' And, 'JESUS is the author and finisher of our faith,' GOD through CHRIST and the HOLY SPIRIT inspiring man, have authored the 'TORAH', and likewise the 'HOLY BIBLE', as HIS "Old' and 'New' Testaments, given and made with HIS people, the Jews first and then the Christians.
Third in faith, if anyone wants to believe 'carnally' and by 'sight' specifically how man wrote and compiled the final canon themselves, which spread worldwide and is commonly read and used until today. Then, one has 'failed' and 'lost' to live by faith and 'spiritually', according to 2Timothy3:16&17, where GOD in CHRIST and by the HOLY SPIRIT 'inspired man' and 'authored them' Himself.
If GOD can use a donkey to correct HIS prophet, HE can use the pagan king Cyrus, calling him as HIS servant, to help HIS people to go home and build their city again, especially the Temple for their worship.
This is not 'interesting' to be 'entertained' readers, but is of the 'truth' within the All Scripture = HOLY BIBLE in sound doctrine wisdom taught and testifying boldly.
Having the 'talents', given by the HOLY SPIRIT, but neglect the All Scripture = HOLY BIBLE taught in sound doctrine and called to do/practice and abide, and bear much fruits, are merely practicing and abiding in 'lawlessness'. And in Matthew 7:21-23, on that day to come, JESUS will reject those who boast what they have done in His name using these 'talents'. He truthfully 'prophesy' on that day, for on the judgement day that is, as a reminder and a stir up of memory, not to be 'ignorant' Christians.
Thank you and may GOD the FATHER of our LORD JESUS CHRIST bless you all in order to 'perceive' sound doctrine in faith, than be entangle to all the 'false' spreading in these last days, before the 'anti-CHRIST' comes, and for us to go through 'Tribulation', and least we 'fall away', as prophesied.
