Posted : 25 Aug, 2008 01:24 PM In studying betrothal a little more....I found different times...such as David married Abigail and Ahinoam immeditately(1 Samuel 38-43) and then we see Jacob and Rachel...Jacob worked for Rachel's father for seven yrs during his bethrothal and then was given Leah...Jacob worked seven more years so he could have Rachel...so you can say his betrothal time was 14 year!......
