Trump is now talking about CUBA.

CUBA is just 90 miles from the Florida coast.

I think it would be great to have Cuba as a territory of the United States.

I think Cuba always should have been a territory of the United States.

I also think we should have kept the Panama Canal.

I have well wishes for Trump concerning Cuba.

I agree with you. I enjoyed how you sort of linked Cuba and the Pannama cannal.



I think that in the next few years both will be controled via The United States.



The Panama Canal is strategic to the defense of America because it allows for quick and efficient movement of military and commercial ships between the Atlantic and Pacific Oceans, enhancing U.S. maritime power. The Cuban Missile Crisis of 1962 was a 13-day confrontation between the United States and the Soviet Union, triggered by the discovery of Soviet nuclear missiles in Cuba. It is considered the closest the Cold War came to escalating into a full-scale nuclear war, ultimately resolved through diplomatic negotiations.



Also there are former residents of Cuba that would like to return to there country, but right now going to live in Cuba would be sort of like moving to Iran. So change is on the way and I am happy for the Cuban-Americans!

Yes, we are happy there was not a nuclear war with Russia. The Cuban Missile Crisis was one of the times we were close to Nuclear War. In mind of that, I think the U.S. should acquire Cuba as a territory of the United States. They are too close for comfort, and it makes sense being that close that they be a part of the United States.
