Let me tell you what he said and then you guys (and gals) tell me if he really asked me out. First, let me tell ya, there is a barn near where I live and all the locals go there and play country music and sing. No drinking . They call it "Sis's". I've never been there. OK, so this guy comes in where I work all the time and is very nice and all, but he seems to prefer the younger girls. Know what I mean? Tonite he says, "Ya wouldn't wanna go down to Sis's with me Thursday would ya? You probly have ta work, ugh"? "Yep, I gotta work, I work every Thursday. Busy nite." And he leaves. Now, I haven't been asked out in a very loooonnnngg time and I guess I had delusions of what it was going to be like when it happened. I gotta say, if this was being asked out on a date, I am, well, i don't know what I am. lol Please tell me what you think. Somebody help me see the funny side of this!!! Sandy Post Reply

I'm curious as to why you didn't say,"I work every Thursday, but I'm off on ??? Leaving it open for him to say, "Well, wanna do something on ??? I wasn't sure what happened. Poor guy, now I feel bad. I guess I'm just used to talking to people as a married woman that I don't think of myself as a marrried one, :rolleyes: Pray for me!! That will let him know that you remember he asked you to go, plus give him the opener to ask you again. Good way to start a conversation, too. :) Post Reply
