If I was a wicked painter who likes to paint naked women, I would not need you to take your clothes out because I can see your body shapes clearly with the modern clothes you wear. I would just need to pick up the colour for a skin tone. You're almost the same as naked.

Food for thought- On the way to work today I heard on the radio that on a certain evening next week will be a mother - daughter meeting showing how mothers can teach their daughters how to dress modest.
When paul wrote that women were to address young women in this area who do you think told him that?
Men are to address young men and women -young women.
Why is this?

I can read this post and get a very good idea.

I'm not going to say you guys are completely wrong, but you are definitely FAR too hard-lined and irrational about this stuff...even a tad hypocritical. Yes, I did look at there profiles. One is showing off his arm and the other lives in England. The English!!!!!!!!!
I have been over to Europe friends.All the English speaking TV stations in those countires bash America. We are the evil of the world. We are just so wrong. It makes me wonder why we sent our boys to die in 2 world wars over there?????

You are certainly entitled to your own opinion, but I ask you to reconsider the wisdom of making broad general comments about people based upon their country or what that country's journalist, in general, say in the media.
I am an American and I don't share your same general opinion about the British people...or Europeans, for that matter. Nor would I want to be judged, as an individual, for what the American journalists choose to print or say on the news. Americans have opinions as diverse as the people that live here...so do the Brits. I don't believe stereotyping others benefits a conversation or helps to arrive at Truth.
As Christians...we're brothers and sisters in Christ. Technically speaking, we are all from the same country...under the same King of kings and Lord of lords.

@ my kind sister, In my mind I could almost picture you walking up to the Apostle Paul and asking him why he was so sarcastic to the legalistic jews who tried to force the gentilies to get circumcsed. Paul gave a very sarcastic response. So, i was being sarcastic.
