I would just like to understand what it was that drew you to read more about the ladies that you got in touch with. Was it how they looked? How they presented their profile? What their profile made you feel? Proximity to your location? Their denomination? Mystery/ Openness? Post Reply

I don't want to be with a close-minded person. I absolutely need someone with an open mind who is willing to change to follow the truth that God shows them, and who can stand to think about new ideas that challenge their own. 2. Proximity to your location? Pretty important to me, I wouldn't consider someone who was more than 4 hours away unless I got some pretty big indicators from God. 3. Was it how they looked? Yes, I think mutual attraction is an important part of a healthy marriage. Not that everybody has to be super models, but that each should be confident with their own appearance, and satisfied with each other's appearance. Otherwise, it leaves the door open for insecurity, jealousy, and lust. 4. Their denomination? As long as they believe in God and are searching for the truth, denomination is not important to me. 5. How they presented their profile? I like to see intelligence/logic and humor, but it's not that important. 6. What their profile made you feel? Not at all important. :peace::peace: Post Reply

Posted : 25 Aug, 2013 10:13 AM Well for me, I think there are differences between what makes me view a profile and then what makes me go further and initiate contact. A simple partial view of a profile with a small pic and a short paragraph amidst pages, doesn't allow for too much. Proximity would be top on my list followed by curiosity (maybe an interesting opening, with a clear pic), potential common links / interests. When actually viewing a full profile, honesty, the idea that there could be an equal yoking, multiple pics and finding something that is attractive to me, lead me to ponder and question, which then leads to the initial email. Posted : 2 Sep, 2013 05:57 PM 1- Distance of the person 2- Pictures/looks (which include height, body shape, tan, long hair, ...) 3- If they include God in their profile or not, either mentioning Him, or if their lives evolve around Him (which I prefer) 4- Similarities in Hobbies or music or other things...
