Many preachers who claim to hold firmly to the authority of scripture and claim to reject Secular Himanism’s false science of molecules-to-man-evolution have instead embraced some of evolution’s false claims‼️‼️‼️
These preachers, who are supposed to be guardians of truth, have instead fallaciously, illogically, inexcusably and inadvertently adopted certain doctrines of evolution‼️‼️‼️ Worse yet, they don’t even know it‼️‼️‼️

Ok, how about a discussion board soliloquy⁉️
Here goes.
To start: how about the theological fallacy (idiocy) called the “gap theory”.
Basically, it works like this. Thomas Charmers, a Scottish minister wanted to “defend” scripture by making it conform to the latest “science” of his day so he invented the Genesis gap theory.
Sadly, the gap theory only made defense of the Bible look more hopeless but it worked great in making false science look, eher hmm, “scientific”.
Through the years, however, more compromising theologians would borrow the gap theory for sermon preparation in order to appear “scientific” and up-to-date as they stood before their flocks explaining the “beginnings”.
For a while, at least, the ill-conceived gap theory seemed workable for teaching the notion of a “prehistoric” earth.
Sadly, the more gullible members of the flock swallowed the unproven theory. So, the universalist approach that was intended to discredit the Genesis account, gradually succeeded in eroding the authority of Genesis. Nevertheless, the more skeptical (logical) of minds held firm and resisted the anti-intellectual universalist nonsense‼️‼️
Here’s a short clip from AiG: Uniformitarian geologists, such as James Hutton in the late 1700s and Charles Lyell in the 1800s, began to study the earth’s different landforms and argued that geological evidence pointed to an earth much older than a plain reading of Scripture would allow. Lyell was not a dispassionate scientist following the evidence wherever it led—he had an agenda. He wanted to “free the science of geology from Moses.”2 However, because this branch of geology deals with history—how the earth was shaped in the past—we need a historical document that can tell us what happened. The Bible is the only infallibly true historical record that can explain what we see in the geological record. It is impossible to “free” historical science from the only eyewitness account we have.
In response to uniformitarianism, Scottish minister Thomas Chalmers was the first to popularize the gap theory in 1814. His motivation was to defend Scripture against uniformitarianism by fitting long ages into Scripture.
The gap theory exists solely to allow its adherents to believe in the secular timeline of history while interpreting the Bible literally from Genesis 1:2 onward. Proponents often reject evolution, believe the current world was created in six days, and accept a historical Adam. Nevertheless, capitulating to nineteenth century science gradually gave people the idea that the Bible was not the authoritative source for earth’s history.

Another extremely anti-intellectual compromised attempt to harmonize Genesis 1 with false science’s billions of years ages is the Framework Hypothesis.
Answers in Genesis explains FH here: The Framework Hypothesis is essentially an attempt to reclassify the genre of Genesis 1 as being something other than historical narrative. Proponents have attempted to identify figurative language or semi-poetic devices in the text. Thinking they have successfully shown that the Bible’s first chapter is not to be taken in its plain sense, they make the claim that Genesis 1 simply reveals that God created everything and that He made man in His own image, but it gives us no information about how or when He did this.

What about the fact that none of you live on a spinning ball. Before you weep and gnash at the teeth at me consider these questions and observations:
1) can you see it spin, Feel it spin, taste it spin, hear it spin, and or smell it spin? If you can’t use your senses to verify, is that considered nonsense. The television doesn’t count. Tell a vision.
2) what did the Big Dipper look like when you were a child? 2000 years ago? The same? Yup. If everything is hurling through space at different speeds and directions wouldn’t the constellations have some change in shape after thousands of years?
3) why can’t you feel it spin? It supposedly also wobbles. For those that say….. it’s two big to feel it spinning…, where’s the working model to prove this? Have you ever been on a moving object and not felt it move?
4) there’s just so many questions… if the earth goes 67,000 miles an hour around the sun how does the moon circle the earth at 2000 miles an hour?
Keep in mind that we live in a time where people think they can become the opposite sex through surgery. Is it that hard to believe that you’ve been fooled ?

Oh well, l thought I finally had a real person appear on this lonely science forum. But alas, my hopes once again dashed to the ground to the “flat earth” below the solid dome heavens.
We’ve already discussed the fallacy of the flat earth on other threads. Flat earth arguments are kinda—like—FLAT‼️‼️🤣😆😄
But as life would have it—-May as well continue my solitary soliloquy covering the >>stupidest<< interpretations of Genesis 1.
In all probability, the most obtusively alpha-stupid theories of creation is the “theistic-evolution” interpretation of Genesis 1.
This interpretation is so anti-science and anti-logical that you don’t need a brain to believe in it.
The theistic-evolution approach to origins is a “theological” compromise that naively attempts to explain the Genesis creation account in a such a way that actually accuses God of lying by implication.
Certain theologians were ashamed of the biblical creation account as found in Genesis 1. So they began to postulate how God might have used evolution as an origins device to create the universe.
