Posted : 16 Dec, 2009 05:00 PM In light of conversations I've read and participated in, and not just those relating to my posts, I was left wondering what this topic of interest asks? Are you a Pharisee Christian? Have you ever been one? Would you even care to know if you were? Would you change upon the confession of being one? I dug out of my writing archives a piece that I wrote on a similar subject, and this is what I interpreted through scripture and the leading of the Holy Spirit. Characteristics of A Pharise Christian: Judgemental Narrowminded Egotistical Hypercritical Condemning Rigid Religious Arrogant Self-Righteous Dead in Spirit Superior Unmerciful Unforgiving Ignorant Surely, this is not what an authentic Christ- follower looks like. However, many supposed Christians contain these very specific traits. Why is that? Post Reply

Some Christians seem more legalistic depending on which People they are with. I tend to be more of a Pharisee when it comes to my own grown children. Post Reply
