Admin	The "One Trick Pony" Posted : 24 Dec, 2010 10:29 AM A 'One Trick Pony' is a horse or pony who is really good at one thing. It may know how to bow or play find the handkerchief and everyone says "What a great horse!" But what they don't see is it steps on your feet, maybe bites, kicks or even bucks. A good horse is one that desires a bond or connection towards the person who is handling it fairly. It doesn't do 'tricks' just to get a treat. It has a genuine desire to join and please the person it is with. We have to always ask ourselves, "Are we a One Trick Pony?" Do we obey the laws of God to get a treat or avoid punishment. Or do we have a genuine desire to please our master and be joined with Him? Post Reply
