is it a "turnoff"Posted : 22 Feb, 2009 01:59 PMthat is exsactly what i am talking about, people liken realism to a pessimist, when in reality a realist accepts what is real and will happen, but why do so many people dislike this idea, why are so many females opposed to this, and why are so many people ridiculously cheesy happy when people know the laws of thermodynamics. |

is it a "turnoff"Posted : 24 Feb, 2009 12:41 PMthe nice part of being a realist is you are constantly either being proven right or pleasantly surprised. that is my philosophy on the whole thing. |

is it a "turnoff"Posted : 25 Feb, 2009 04:26 AM@OP... as the 2nd post stated.. a world of difference between being a realist, and a pessimist.. 2 completely different things. One is a philosophical view on life, the other is not so philosophical but simply a frame of mind a tad bit on the unhealthy side which can lead to therapy, as well as damage others who will listen. |

is it a "turnoff"Posted : 26 Mar, 2009 02:39 PMWell, to answer you question directly: Yes, it kinda is a turnoff. When you say "you are either proven right, or surprised" it sounds super depressing. |
