A GODLY WOMAN

The Bible says, Proverbs 14:1 that "The wise woman builds her house, but with her own hands, the foolish one tears hers down." Such is abortion and divorce. Women tearing down their house.

The husband of a noble wife is held in honor.

"She brings him good, not harm all the days of her life." (Proverbs 31:12)

I think a godly woman values her husband and values her children and respects THE LORD and respects Bible teachings.

WOMEN, WHAT DO YOU THINK A GODLY WOMAN IS?

We are recognized by our fruit. (Matthew 12:33, Luke 6:44)

The wise woman builds her house, but with her own hands, the foolish one tears hers down. (Proverbs 14:1)

A Godly woman is a woman who tries to live a life that is pleasing to God. When in doubt she takes her cues from the bible. A woman doesn’t have to married to be Godly in some cases it’s better not to be…:-)

Paul thought women would be happier not marrying also. (1 Corinthians 7:40)

Once a woman has sexual relations for the first time that man is her husband and she takes her cues from him. If he's not a Christian then she has to be the most Godly woman possible in the hopes that in doing so his heart will be won over to Jesus. At no time does that mean she should divorce him as long as he's willing to stay with her.

That may be true of a virgin not pledged to be married. The Bible expounds on that. (Exodus 22:16) But she may have been pledged to be married. (Deuteronomy 22:23-29) So, that all depends on whether she was pledged or not.

As it is, no one goes by the Bible anymore.

Ideally, I might agree, but nothing is ideal.

But in the Bible, there were shot-gun marriages so to speak.

A father might say no in some instances.

But the subject here is a godly woman and what women think is godly.

In the modern world a proposal of marriage would be the equivalent to a pledge back then. But how many modern women haven't already given a sacred part of her to another man before a proposal?

So in the case of no proposal before sex wouldn't that mean if she marries someone else would that not mean that even if she claims to be a "Godly woman" that she would actually be living in sin?

I was asking the women.

Of course, in "ASK A GIRL" other guys are welcome to "ASK A GIRL" and you are welcome to "ASK A GIRL" as well.

I hope for a female response.

I was hoping for a response from the women.

Inasmuch as I agree that women are to be virgins for their first husband, this discussion is about what the women think a godly woman is.
