uniquecrystalheart74 View Profile History	Why are we too choosy? Posted : 1 Jul, 2011 05:19 PM I usually read in the profiles, why am I online looking for the one for me? Maybe because where we are all singles are either taken, in a relationship or married. But why is it that there are so many profiles yet it is still so very hard for us to find the one? Before, I would only like someone from my own race until I realize it is not about the race or the country where you are but it is in the sincerity of the heart and the truthfulness of the faith. Also, we tend to be too picky, that we give a conclusion about the person by looking at the pictures, reading the profile without even getting to know the person first. So, do you also wonder why us, Christians, are too choosy and too picky? Until when are you going to be choosy and picky just to make sure the person is the one already for you? (^_~) Post Reply

Posted : 1 Jul, 2011 07:20 PM Hi there uniquecrystalheart:waving: first of all let me say i LOVE your long straight black beautiful hair:glow: As what you asking.....hmmm i guess depends on persons experiences already ,why their/were so picky and choosy especially if they or we had bad experienced from our past before.So the next time we love again,you will be really careful to whom you will give your HEART again.And hopefully we will pick or choose the one that our good Lord set aside and prepared for us only. Posted : 1 Jul, 2011 10:20 PM Hello: I believe this Scripture will be the point of my answer. 1Sa 16:6 And it happened as they came in, that he saw Eliab, and said, Surely His anointed is before Jehovah. 1Sa 16:7 And Jehovah said to Samuel, Do not look on his appearance, nor to the height of his stature, for I have rejected him. For man does not see what He sees. For man looks for the eyes, but Jehovah looks for the heart. Both men and women are still fleshly creatures. We have a New Nature,yet there is still the old nature,with its passions and desires that we have to put to death,each and every day,and moment of every day. Both men and women look on the outward appearnecs first. Looks,cleanliness,all their teeth,a bright smile,etc. This is lust of the flesh. Next we look to see if the other person has a good job,house,car,some type of physical,and monetary security. This is Lust of the Eyes. We also see if the other person is able to build up my reputation. Does this person make me look good in public. The Pride of life Are not these three,Lust of the eyes,Lust of the flesh,Pride of life;What happend with Adam and Eve. Since the garden,Man has not grown much in being Christ -like. IF-IF-IF man had Omniscience such as ABBA,then we would be satisfied with THE PERSON YHWH would bring into our lives. Post Reply

Posted : 1 Jul, 2011 10:44 PM no...no they are not, but they become hinderances when we dont follow Christ and He isnt our all in all, when He doesn't satisfy, when we worry about these things than they become a foot hold for the Devil, these are desires that are neither good or bad. But our hope must be in God alone, with humility. that why we are so choosy or picky because we think we deserve something...or becasue we desire something more than God, or because of sheer foolishness. I think that the answer to my question is that we are looking for somebody who can make us feel a special feeling, who can make our heart beats. If you check the profiles, most men and women are like the "ONE"... specially when I get to read that the man is very romantic, loves to communicate. There are so many great guys and gals. But I realize that I don't want to force anything nor rush into anything just because the guy is great and has all the good qualities. Specially that their faith is at the top of the list which is most important for all of us. I am hoping and praying that my next is already the man who will be my husband for a lifetime. It is great if love will naturally grow between the two of you in the process of getting to know each other. So, maybe we just need to be open for any possibilities.(^_^) Good day to everyone!(^_~) Post Reply

Why settle for just anyone that comes along because you are Lonely or whatever! God gives All good things to us that wait. Whatsoever you ask in prayer, believing and you shall receive. I have met several that were not right for me on Christian mingle. I passed them up. Post Reply
