Ladies does tall, dark and handsome still work for you?

Does dark mean dark hair, eyes, and 5-o-clock shadow?

What`s first, second, third, Tall, dark or handsome.

Honestly, looks aren't that important to me. Note, I didn't say they aren't important at all, but I look for other things in a man first.

Faithfulness

Gentleness

Respect

Integrity

Honesty

A Good Sense of Humor

Just to name a few...

As for looks...I'm not real picky about hair color and such.

I find myself most attracted to men who have a nice smile, and have a happy look in their eyes, and a peaceful countenance.

Okay....if I have to put them in order it would probably be 1. Tall (taller than me really, that's not too hard) 2. Handsome (this could be anything, hair, eyes, smile, arm muscles, personality, character, the way he treats his mother, whatever I think is attractive) and 3. Dark (I tend to like darker hair but this isn't a deal breaker for me. This would be more like his masculinity, what makes him a man, his strength and power, doesn't have to be physical strength, could be his passion, his devotion to God and family, his cool, calm and collectiveness.)

When I think "Tall, Dark, and Handsome" I always immediately picture Clark Gable in his role as Rhett Butler in "Gone with the Wind." I have NO idea why that is the first thing that comes to mind! I'm not all that sure how tall Clark Gable was, and other than his hair, he wasn't particularly "dark" (except perhaps in character) The handsome part is definitely questionable, given that if I saw him in Walmart I wouldn't think he was all that great looking.

But I'll give in to my shallow side for a minute, and say that yes, "Tall, Dark, and Handsome" does work for me. If I could create the perfect guy physically, I'd make him about 6 feet tall, with dark hair (either black, dark brown, or dark red), brown eyes, slightly tanned skin (though with fair undertones), and boyishly handsome.

As perfect as that guy might look, though, the inside would have to be just as perfect! Otherwise the outside wouldn't be attractive at ALL.

1. Handsome

2. Tall

3. Dark

Dark can mean a multitude of things to a woman. I see it as being mysterious and not a physical feature.

I don't mind a tall and handsome fellow.

I have to definitely be attracted to the guy, but he doesn't have to be some George Clooney when it comes to looks.

I prefer a guy to be as tall or taller than I am in high heels since that is my normal footwear.

As for being dark (mysterious)...I can easily pass on that. I'm not interested in guessing games.

And I agree with what all the ladies have to say here. If their outside attractiveness doesn't match their inside, then I won't even give them a second look.

I think my list would be:

1. Godly

2. SHORT! (5'3" to 5'6")

3. Funny

Let's add smart (not book smart, more like witty, likes to learn, intellectual, etc), kind, gentle, and gracious to the list. Add in some similar interests and goals and there's my man! A few other things on the list, but those are the basics.
