Need some advice here:

There's a lady(non-believer) in my neighborhood who gives me the "eye-signal" that interprets - come over and talk to me! What should I do? Shud I ignore her until she loses interest, or, do I make small talk and give her a couple of hints that Im not interested?

Blessings,

John

Can you take the opportunity for evangelism with her without giving her the wrong impression? If she knows of your faith, perhaps she is reaching out? I would strongly encourage you to pray about this, seeking guidance, and pray for her. God still works in mysterious ways!

I dont know if you could "cleanly" get away once you start talking to her. Since she is giving you eye-signals, you can probably do a :excited: or a :goofball:

Then run.

I agree with NRSV...use the opportunity to share the Gospel with her. If you have no real interest her, you will have at least presented the Gospel. If there is spark, and she gets saved, maybe there could be a future.

Yes.....I agree with NRSV and Teach....allow The Lord to guide and direct your approach. Be blessed.

Caution in witnessing to a person whom you think likes you but you dont like back.

Pray about it.

Do you think someone else should minister (a or with a woman elder, or connect with the outreach ministry of your church)? From someone who grew up seeing who goes in and out of church, I think if you walk up to someone while they are infatuated with you, it opens a lot of stuff. True it is an oppurtunity, but there would be distractions (& even temptations). Take into account the soil with which you will be planting...

Some people feign Christianity.

In a nutshell, if you arent comfortable with any of it, dont proceed. Anyway, you could just continue what youve been doing before you noticed. Living the gospel is as important as sharing it.

Sometimes, ignorance is bliss.

There is something not right with your question. Sorry, but true. You are 29 years old you dont know how to be friendly with an unsaved woman I dont think so there is something more to it but all I can do is guess.

Maybe she must be hot and you dont trust yourself if that is the case that is valid. If you are tempted to sin, well you are right to run from it G-d will send someone else in your place. Or it could be the extreme opposite and she is ugly and you want nothing to do with her. Or maybe you just know something more about her and she just becomes a leech when she gets attention.. (Whatever doesnt really matter).

No matter what the bigger picture is G-d will figure it out for you. And fix it but either way through you or someone else her salvation is the most important thing and I would pray specifically for her salvation and ask G-d to give you favor to lead her to Him and/or to put others in her life that will lead her to Him. It seems as though He wants to use you somehow, He has her on your mind!!!!

I totally agree! I believe we should use every opportunity to tell someone about the Lord...even if the bait is our good-looks. lol

I wasn't expecting this many help! Thanx a lot guys :)

Im with Chrome on this one; witnessing to her sounds good but I don't think the timing is right, atm. Perhaps after everything cools down.

I'll pray about it tonight and seek guidance from the Holy Spirit.

God bless you all,

John
