question to all women

are there any loving, caring, devoted, sweet, honest, and trusting "women" left out in the world? i put women in quotations because i do believe there is a major difference between a "woman" and a "girl". girls are not any of the above things. all they want is to be treated unlike everyone else. they want everything given to them without working hard at all. women know how to work hard for what they have and what they want. women have seen the world and all its entirety and understand responsibility and stability. a woman is beautiful no matter how they may look or feel.

In your age bracket --- yes, I know some. In my age bracket --- YES. LOTS.

Hang in there -- keep trying.

Well my 1st vote goes to my own 2 daughters but my youngest still has some teen age changes that we usually look back on and been through ourselves. But, I think she is comming along in time.(lol) but pray for me anyways...lol

Speaking of time all things do have there own time to develope. You may have had in your past a young girl you could not really stand to like but probably change your thinking on later on because what you thought then was totally changed by time. But, maybe you havent had that in your life but, the point is I think time is really what is really changing things around us. I know I am not the same person I was 20 years ago and I know you wont be or anyone else either. I would have to say what you see in a woman now as you described in your post is nice but, we all can change in time, good or bad. That is why it is 4 better or 4 worse.GivenLife

It's just a question of maturity then. Some people have been blessed with it early, unfortunately it doesn't usually come until after a heavy wake-up call to their ego. I think only the people that realize they deserve nothing, and can only accept things through grace and mercy...those would be the mature ones. It can happen at any age....and maybe a woman should post this same question to the guys. Because...I don't know...I think I see more immature men then I see immature women. I can't imagine the frustration on the woman's side. Maybe they don't even know what they're missing...doesn't seem like it sometimes. But anyway....take a look at the wisest man that ever lived. He was curious about the best way to live...and discovered that it wasn't through serving his every whim. Living a simple humble life of servitude is the best way to survive on this planet. Only desiring the fruit of your labor. Like Jesus:rocknroll:. If you can live your life like that then you are mature in every sense. Selfishness is something we need to remove from our lives at any cost. It is the polar opposite of the Christian walk.

I must say that i'd have to agree with Don'thitthatmark, it is related to maturity and sometimes doesn't come until a wake up call happens. There are loving, caring, devoted, sweet, honest, and trusting "women" left. Those women are out there, I know it seems like none exist, but keep looking you will find the woman that God has planned for you.

Ditto to Mark and jes2nice responses... Tom, give it time... you are young, but probably very mature for the women your same age. Just keep your focus in God, take care of your business, attain the goals you're working toward, and continue to contribute to these forums as you do. You've got something! You may be surprised very soon.

I looked at your profile, and you seem to be very open about being open about you. That is a good thing. Don't ever change who you are. Don't put a mask on you... just observe and grow from it all. Oh well... there I go again... taking it to another place!! Glad you posted!

There is a lot to be said about the "girl" in a woman.

Yes as we mature we leave behind many or most or hopefully all of our abberrant behaviors, but I would hope that we keep in touch with that "little girl" or young man in us.

That child that could Love with no requirements or prerequisites and that was amazed and awed and so easily thrill by God's Creation. There is something about a full grown...mature (as in Fully Ripened and Sweetened) womaan that still has that "little girl" in them. Many of todays women have had that precious child beatened out of them by life and by men and it leaves them incomplete.

That is a rare women that has both qualities. It is a blessed man that finds her and realizes what he has discovered.

There are still some of us out there, but we're wondering the same thing about men :) It's a tough search, but keep hunting, have patience, and pray pray pray!
