Admin	Top 3 needs of a man, woman Posted : 5 Dec, 2010 12:55 PM Top 3 three needs..woman, man. We just had a guest speaker at our church preach to us about how to have a strong marriage. Understanding the needs of your mate, is the key. Here are the top 3 needs of a man and women in marriage. For a man: #1) Honour and respect (from wife) #2) companionship #3) sex (no big surprise) For a woman: 1) Security #2) Communication #3) Leadership ie: from husband. Wife needs to be under submission or under a mission that the leader (husband) has. Interesting most woman rank sex somewhat facetious as #13, right after gardening. Couple other points He made. A woman is born with all the eggs she I`ll ever have. A man on the other hand can continue to produce and sow seed until the day he dies, hence it`s inherit in man to produce and sow seed throughout his life (not just talking sex) but may be the reason men seek younger woman. Clarifying 1 Peter 3:7 where it says the wife is the weaker vessel meaning she is as a treasured expensive vase that a husband should cherish and honour and respect with great value. I'm hoping to have positive sexual experiences in marriage, but hearing stuff like that makes me wonder if it's going to be awful =( FYI: The quality of the "seed" diminishes in guys as they grow older... chromosomal abnormalities and things like that. A woman who doesnt feel pretty anymore or maybe gained a few pounds and her husband lets her know or he verbally lashes her when he's upset. I can understand why gardening would be before sex. for us, it's not really a physical need, it's an emotional bond. #2 Also I agree with Tulip- Post Reply

The needs of both are met in relationship with God and secondly through the spouse. To rely on a human to meet your needs is to invite disappointment. Post Reply

Victory, you are right on the money with security! I never felt secure in any of my relationships; that's why we fought all the time. Men, when a woman feels secure, she is more giving. Pixy, It "sex" definatly ain't teribile! or like gardening, (at least none I've ever done) it just is never as important to the woman as the man!!! I mean, God specifically designed the woman's body to experience pleasure during sex, and women like to be close and to experience affection... I guess that men and women would want sex for slightly different reasons, but I really don't get why women don't think it's that important. Is it that they don't understand the purpose of sex? Or that they don't like their husbands? Or that they have some kind of physical or emotional issue to work though? It seems like a healthy women in a healthy relationship would see sex as being very important, because it is!! Post Reply
