I made it on purpose - We have these little things called "hurricanes" here! Not fun!:excited: I don't think a fire would be either! I keep journals and would also try to grab as many as I can. View Profile History	FIRE !!! Posted : 9 Dec, 2010 07:29 PM While I was yelling, waking everyone up, I'd put my slippers on. If I had time I'd shove my feet into a pair of slip-on shoes like Keds. I'd grab my purse, my laptop, and probably photo albums. I'd love to be able to grab both cats, but the odds of being able to do that would be slim to none. I'd just have to pray for them to be OK. Cats if nearby (My cats, especially the new stray, are unpredictable.My older cat would probably wake me up if he smelled smoke-he has before-but he wouldn't survive a fall from a window very well. I doubt the stray would let me near him if he was terrified. And there's no way I could hold them both at once.) blanket off my bed for warmth purse and whatever shoes are nearby if I'm going out the front door. If I'm going out the window forget the purse. Everything I own is replaceable. I'm not. :) And Twosparrows, my primary objectives would be survival and warmth, not fashion. :rolleyes: Post Reply

Posted : 11 Dec, 2010 04:56 PM I'd jump into my clothes from the night before, which are almost guaranteed to have my keys, wallet, knife, and belt, while I grab my cell phone. I'd probably pull on my Sperry's since finding socks for my boots would be a hassle. I'd grab my laptop and be out the door in 30 seconds max. Then I'd have to turn back around and go back inside because I forgot to check and see if my roommate was up. My laptop is important, but not as important as him. He's gotta be around to continue paying rent. Post Reply
