One day my wife was out, and papa Sky was in charge.

Our daughter was maybe 2 1/2 years old. Someone had given her a little 'tea set' as a gift, it was one of her favorite toys.

This is a funny little scenario from my email, wondering how you ladies would react...? do you tell him, or let it go? hehe

I was in the living room engrossed in the evening news when she brought out a little cup of 'tea', which was just water. After several cups of

tea and lots of praise for such yummy tea, my wife

came home.

I made my wife wait in the living room to watch our daughter bring me a cup of tea, because it was 'just the cutest thing!'

The wife waited, and sure enough, here

our daughter came down the hall with a cup of tea for her dad; and my wife watched me drink it up.

Then my wife said, (as only a mother would know),

"Did it ever occur to you that the only place she

can reach to get water is the toilet?"

Oh, I would have told him, alright...but just WHEN I'd have told him might have depended on how clean the toilet was at the moment.

OMG jar! You are killing me! What a sweet daddy, though. High 5! :rocknroll:

I know someone who drank bleach, because it was just sitting on the cupboard. He survived it, too. :)

I knew you were going to say that. This reminds me of my 7th grade teacher. He was a little unusual to say the least. He always had styrofoam cups in his classroom. He would always says to one of the guys go get me a glass of water. They would always take it out of the toilet and then everyone laughed while he drank it. He never did catch on. Poor guy!!

Hmmm... my response might just depend on how long it had been since we argued, but no matter what I decided to do, I would have made him brush his teeth and use a little mouthwash before he kissed me!!

j/k I probably would have tried to stop him from drinking it. Maybe reminded him that those dishes could have been ANYWHERE before she brought them in to play tea, so we should discourage really drinking out of them or something.
