Is it recognizable a spiritual girl on account of her way to wear?. I think it's a way to show others what is inside her heart and a way to be respected by others.

Your replies would be sincerely appreciated. (mainly from ladies)

God bless you all! .

I don't think you can automatically know her heart by looking at what she's wearing, but I do think it definitely "says" something. Of course, the same could be said for the obverse.

Have a good day!

i am not sure i have the question right but if your saying does clothes make the woman the answer is no, the key is in your mind and how you see it that is the problem .for we have two sides of our mind all of us . now the word tells us that the heart of man is decietful above all things and that is very true ,that is why we are instructed by G-d to seek wisdom and intelligence .....because the word says ALL is vanity ALL ,not just somethings....right now the clothing on wall street is being modeled by men! some men dress like nice woman and some like tramps but in fact they are MEN ....so to answer you question again does clothes make a woman the answer is NO for only a womb can make a woman selah! (:

hope that helped . G-d tells us to test the spirits for G-d fore knew we would have to understand??

Matters of dressing in christianity are classified as matters of opinion because the Bible has no universal dress code for women of all nations and cultures.

As a matter of opinion then, we must note the philosophical leaning of the discussants: whether conservative, liberal, contemporary, medieval or outright stone age.

I am a contemporary man who loves to enjoy my generation and define/practice christianity in the context of my generation. Therefore, the fashion trends of my generation for women and men of my generation does not elicit inquiry from me at all.

My father, who is a retired evangelist of his era thinks totally different from me and have a different "value code" for "christian dressing"

My ex was a traditional/conservative and wouldn't wear a g-string which I admired when she finally did (sorry if I'm a bit graphic here). We had series of tense arguments over dressing - inside out.

Well, I suggest a conservative marry similar, because the modern/contemporary are attracted by things contemporary. That's all they were born into and all they've seen. If my spouse is caught up in conservative attire, then we'll have problems when she catches me taking a quick peek at someone else dressed to fit my aesthetic appeal.

Bottomline: dressing is no indicator or determinant of spirituality.

I don't agree with you MyBoaz. There are many verses in Scripture that talk about self control of various types. It seems that 1 Timothy 2:9-10 addresses the issue quite directly:

"Likewise, I want women to adorn themselves with proper clothing, modestly and discreetly, not with braided hair and gold or pearls or costly garments, but rather by means of good works, as is proper for women making a claim to godliness. " (NASB)

Not that you can't enjoy your wife and such. Though I will have to clarify. I believe that we should distinguish between fashion and lack of clothes.

How a woman dresses is how she wants others to see her. Modestly dressed says I save the best for the one who matters. Lady Gaga says try to get me if you want to stand in line. Need I say more?
