A guy should be able to at least support himself and if the couple wants to have a family, then he needs to have some money to provide for his family. If you are just playing at work and not really doing a good job at supporting yourself, then women are going to run away from you. You need to have a good enough job so to show that you are willing to take on life�s responsibilities. Post Reply
SOS4EMAILFRIEND View Profile History	Job and Income Posted : 3 Mar, 2011 11:02 AM I think the attitude towards money and how someone handles his finances are far more important than the job and the income. A small income handled with responsibility is far more precious to me than a terrific income of a big spender. By the way, why do people think that when you have a terrific salary you are thus a terrific person???? Post Reply

Will he contribute in other ways to the household if not via an income? (i.e. do the cooking and shopping) Is he happy with me being the potential bread-winner? Those and more are all considerations. So if someone doesn't have a job or doesn't have a high paying job, I'm not overly concerned. However, I would have more respect for someone who worked at Burger King but worked hard and owned a modest house and/or had a little money in the bank than someone who made $100,000/year and had saved or invested none of it and/or had a large amount of debt.
