The answers went from one extreme to the other} Anyway.. I am single because, my future Godly man hasn't found me yet, or recognized that I am "the one"! :rolleyes::goofball: The advantages I experience.... Well, I get to do what I want of course with having to report to noone. :yay: I have all the alone time I want with the Lord which is a wonderful thing! :applause:. I can always experiment with food because I enjoy everything, and am never disappointed by my own cooking!! Post Reply

Well, I think there are more DISadvantages. but some of the good things are...... I have more free time to devote to projects at church, I have sole control of the TV remote, I can cook what I want, when I want, I can be as messy or clean as I want, Post Reply
Elisa View Profile History	Why are you single? Posted : 24 Apr, 2010 08:41 PM I am single because I have never been asked to get married by anyone I was supposed to say yes to. Advantages....I have learned how to rewire a lamp, a light switch, and a plug in. Another plus is learning to do woodworking. Also, time to work on education which God said I needed to do. Disadvantage....plumbing. I just can't seem to get the hang of it. Another is nobody to help when the responsibilities of work, school, and renovating a house (not to mention day to day life) get a bit overwhelming. However, I am happier single than married to the wrong person so trusting in God that all will be as He deems best. Whatever that means, as long as walking with God, it is all good. Post Reply

Posted : 25 Apr, 2010 09:41 AM I am single right now because I can not find a lady close to me to date.I did find a lady in my home town on this site but, she said she hates cats. My cats helped get rid of a no good woman. She doesn't like my cats then she can hit the road. It really was a dumb reason.:ROFL: Post Reply

I keep telling Him, "OK, any day now would be fine...I'm not getting any younger, you know!" But God will provide a husband for me in HIS time, not MY time. Waiting does get hard after a while, though. Especially when most of my friends are married and have children. Then I start wondering if there is something seriously wrong with me. Am I weird? Am I unattractive? Am I way too picky? Am I too smart? Am I intimidating? Am I boring? Am I immature? Asking those questions doesn't help though...instead, I just become discontent with where God has me right NOW. And I don't doubt that I'm doing what God wants, where God wants me. So I have to pray daily that God will remind me that HE is in control, and that HE will take care of me according to HIS plans. Jeremiah 29:11 says, "For I know the plans I have for you," declares the LORD, "plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future." That has become my favorite verse in the past few days. As for advantages...I don't have to keep a husband happy. I only have to take care of myself. Post Reply

Posted : 25 Apr, 2010 04:55 PM Unnhh.....ok,I know im getting pretty old,but Im only now just becoming someone that would make a good partner,Ive had to climb a long way up from the bottem,i finally think Im ready to love someone unconditionally(or as close to that as us humans can come.I dont hold it against god though,if I get horrible stomache cancer tommorrow and die a horrible death,according to the bible,Im still getting better than I deserve.We all deserve death and hell...what we are getting is an eternity of glorious perfect happiness,so if i dont get happiness here,I know it just a matter of time..........in Christ......Steve Post Reply

Posted : 25 Apr, 2010 07:04 PM i think i'd be just as happy with somebody as i'd be without because in both you still get to discover things you didn't know before about yourself, other people, love and how it all points to God as you move closer. The best of both is figuring out how to get closer to Him and each other. Post Reply
