Posted : 12 Aug, 2014 07:50 AM Selfies...Hummmm....alot of folks take selfies because there isnt anyone around to take the picture at the time...I must say I'm in agreement with Hidden on the bathroom pics...I've seen some profiles with gents in front of the mirror...with no shirt on...kinda makes me wonder what they be showing off...the bod or the bathroom...:rolleyes:...ya...I rolled my eyes because i'm thinking whats up with that...:laugh:...Anywho...people are people and people will do what people do wether it is right wrong or indifferant...Jesus never said I have to like what a person does...He did say I am to Love them...:bouncy:...xo Post Reply

I guess in an ideal world no one would care what we looked like other than our faces ... but it's not an ideal world. And sometimes clothing choices or other externals (tattoos?) tell something about what a person values. I think I can get a full-height selfie w/o using the mirror ... but I'll see when I'm ready to. And women who would be interested in me deserve to know that I look like I'm 60 pounds overweight ... since I am. Post Reply

I don't see how there is anything wrong with it. Some people would attribute my response to age, however are we all not allowed to take pictures of ourselves? Do we all have those wonderfully expensive tripods for a more pleasing picture? Do anyone ever go to those photo shops anymore, unless for a family pic? Isn't it not more important to be able to see a clear picture of the person's face? The issue for me is: *Semi/Naked (chest/mountains, no shirt on, laying in bed, belly showing, back shots...etc) *Bedroom pics (even if you are properly dressed, that leads to high ted imagination, leading to a stepping stone for the person who is interested) * Facial Expressions ( tongue out, lip bitting, kissy face, phone covering face...etc) * Female counterpart (that is not family) I say all this with the utmost respect. It is obvious that all those who pose that way, do not have a PERSONAL relationship with GOD. But look at the BRIGHT SIDE, at least those who RESPECTS the Word knows not to bother with them... EASY PICKINGS! and if by chance we DO CONTACT them, I hope is to let them know that it is inappropriate for this site and more IMPORTANTLY for the church of GOD. For we are called to help one another. If we see evil and DON'T rebuke it (lovingly! ), then, how are we of service to his WORD? I send as much private messages to my brothers and sisters who do the above, but their requirements sometimes stop me. However the intent was there. I don't want that to be held against me.
