So when a guy complains that he's lonely and would like to find a mate. I try to understand as much as I can about him. In MorganEugeneTacketts case pretty much all I had to go on is a picture of a man who's somewhat overweight wearing the clothes of an Amish person or similar. Given that most women aren't attracted to overweight men then getting into better shape seemed like good advice. And then there's the clothes a man wears. Amish style attire may be fine in that community, but out in the regular world which happens to include most Churches. It's not likely the average Christian woman would find those clothes too appealing so dressing better or at least differently would also help. Then comes education and money. Most women which would include Christian women want to find a man they think can earn enough to raise a family. Which makes sense because it can be pretty tough raising children on a poverty level income and a reasonable education would help in that matter. But it doesn't have to be traditional education as there are many skills that can be learned that pay very well. I personally don't see anything bad in the advice I gave out, but somehow that's how it was labeled. Nowhere did I say leave help from God out of it nor is anything in the advice I gave inherently evil. The main thing I pushed was that MorganEugeneTackett get out there and do the work necessary to make himself more attractive to the opposite gender. And for that I became a bad, bad man in his mind. (1 Corinthians 11:18-19) But the wisdom that comes from heaven is first of all pure; then peace-loving, (James 3:17) Yes, the squabbling here through which all of the squabbling comes seems to be on the matter of divorce and marriage after divorce from which all this arguing occurs. Some advocate for divorce and advocate for marriage after divorce and reject New Testament Bible teachings on the matter and reject Jesus' words against divorce and Jesus' words against marriage after divorce and want to teach others to do the same. Now you are telling us to have peace with this and to tell the GOOD NEWS to others upon this Christian site and to tell THE GOSPEL to Christian on a Christian dating site on the assumption that they have not heard the Gospel and to preach the Gospel GOOD NEWS to them as if they have not already heard the Gospel GOOD NEWS. So, we are to evangelize the evangelized. That is somewhat what we are already doing here. But no one really wants to follow the scriptures. Well wishes in that Morgan. Nice efforts at peace-making, but really, I do not see some repenting of their sin of rejecting Bible teachings. People want to justify what they justify. Such recently the death of Charlie Kirk. He stepped on some people's toes by calling out their sin. But people glory in their shame (Philippians 3:19) and they don't want to be corrected for their sin. Some behaviors are precious to them like "THE LORD OF THE RINGS". Some sins are precious to us, and we'd have the heads of those that call sin "sin". It is not enough for some to sin, but some that advocate for their sin want to teach others to do the same sins. and use these Christian platforms to do it. The very opposite of what Jesus teaches and to advocate it. And you say to have peace with that. Is that the kind of peace that God wants us to have? Peace with adultery after adultery after adultery and to encourage it likewise. Tell others to do the same. Peace with anything goes. No opposition here. Only Good News! Post Reply
