Isaiah 8:20 is the test

Can 2 walk together unless they be agreed? What we might think and write is nothing. The bible tells us how to know if you can trust someone or not. How can 2 become 1 unless you are completely agreed? You will end in divorce if not passing the Isaiah 8:20 test. Remember, we can see a few times in revelation that the people that have a right to the tree of life are people that are keeping all of God's 10 commandments, and they have the testimony of Jesus which is simply explained in rev 19:10. God made it simple for us but most don't know and believe!

Sailorg, thank you for posting

I would like to quote what you posted to make sure I understand your message.

SAILORG QUOTE: Can 2 walk together unless they be agreed? What we might think and write is nothing. The bible tells us how to know if you can trust someone or not. How can 2 become 1 unless you are completely agreed? END QUOTE

LD RESPONSE: No sure what you mean by “completely agreed”.

SAILORG QUOTE: You will end in divorce if not passing the Isaiah 8:20 test. END QUOTE

LD RESPONSE: Asking if you could say more here with regard to this verse and how it prevents divorce

SAILORG QUOTE:Remember, we can see a few times in revelation that the people that have a right to the tree of life are people that are keeping all of God's 10 commandments…” END QUOTE

LD RESPONSE: I’m not disagreeing with you but just wondering if you could further explain your comments in light of Paul’s comments from Romans 3:10-12 in the New International Version. In this passage Paul quotes from the Old Testament:

10 As it is written:

“There is no one righteous, not even one;

11 there is no one who understands;

there is no one who seeks God.

12 All have turned away,

they have together become worthless;

there is no one who does good,

not even one.”[a]

[a]Romans 3:12 Psalms 14:1-3; 53:1-3; Eccles. 7:20

The law of God was intended to be fully obeyed but the law is also a measure of sinful human lostness and exposes their disobedience to the law thus pointing all sinful humans to their great need of salvation in Jesus who was the ONLY ONE who obeyed the law perfectly

SAILORG QUOTE: “…and they have the testimony of Jesus which is simply explained in rev 19:10. God made it simple for us but most don't know and believe!”END QUOTE

LD RESPONSE: yes, holding to the testimony of Jesus and the TRUE worship of the ONLY TRUE GOD is essential to TRUE salvation. And you’re right, sadly most don’t know and believe. The Jesus warns about the way to life—that it is narrow and few there be who find it.

I don't know anyone who has kept all of the Ten Commandments.

But those that are given a right to the Tree of Life all love God and Jesus.

People are deceived. Yes, we are to be Equally Yoked. But now days most Christian marriages end in divorce and who is equally yoked? Thus, it is more like Proverbs 31:30 and Job 13:9. Words change after marriage. Then people show their true colors. There is a reason for Proverbs 31:10 and Matthew 19:10 and 1 Corinthians 7:1.

You got that right‼️

That’s why you should really know someone.

One of the best ways is to see how a prospective partner handle trials or how do they handle insults and accusations. I’ve sure been tested with some of those. Seems I still have a ways to grow
