Hi Everyone
I apologise if this question is in the wrong category. I was wondering if i could get some opinions. i am a woman, but i have never desired to have children of my own. I like kids, as have taught them in Sunday school. I just have never wanted any and are not maternal, so would not feel confident as a mother. I know the bible says that we should multiply and be fruitful, and that women should provide for their families as that is their role, therefore it worries me that i am not fulfilling my role as a female christian. However i also know it would be wrong of me as human to go along with having a child, knowing i never wanted one. I am worried that i am sinning against God in my desires and decision not to have children.

Life�s greatest joys are found in the family. Strong family relationships require effort, but such effort brings great happiness in this life and throughout eternity. Even if you have not had a happy family life in the past, you can seek to have a happy, eternal marriage and a loving relationship with family members.
The New and Everlasting Covenant of Marriage
In our Heavenly Father�s plan of happiness, a man and a woman can be sealed to one another for time and all eternity. Those who are sealed in the temple have the assurance that their relationship will continue forever if they are true to their covenants. They know that nothing, not even death, can permanently separate them.
The covenant of eternal marriage is necessary for exaltation. The Lord revealed through Joseph Smith: �In the celestial glory there are three heavens or degrees; and in order to obtain the highest, a man must enter into this order of the priesthood [meaning the new and everlasting covenant of marriage]; and if he does not, he cannot obtain it. He may enter into the other, but that is the end of his kingdom; he cannot have an increase� (D&C 131:1�4).

Thanks for your message. And for your interpretation. I appreciate you explaining that to me, it makes sense now. I have always been informed about the dangers of how similar People of Mormon belief can sound when discussing elements of the bible and that they are false prophets as stated in the bible. I was also informed that in the Mormon religion you are pressured to marry and have a family. Therefore this all makes sense now in Jms viewpoint. I will continue to pray to our Heavenly Father and to be guided by him alone. I thank you though for your encouragement in the matter and praise God he has used you to counsel to me.

My Answer is Yes after you are marriage if you refuse to bhave Children then you are acting in disoedient to God Words beacuse God command us as a christian in
Gen 1.28
God blessed them and said to them, "Be fruitful and increase in number; fill the earth and subdue it. Rule over the fish in the sea and the birds in the sky and over every living creature that moves on the ground."
and Gen 1.27 -29: follows as this
