Revelation 11:18 says the time has come for judging the dead, and for rewarding your servants the prophets and your people who revere your name — and for destroying those who destroy the earth.” Francis Schaeffer asked, "HOW SHOULD WE THEN LIVE?" Are we to care for this planet? Our first assignment, God placed man in the Garden to care for the garden. The first assignment ever given to man was caring for a garden. How are we to approach living on the earth? Are we to subdue it? There will be a new heaven and a new earth. Paul tells us not to be engrossed by the things of this earth. That the world in its present form is passing away. (1 Corinthians 7:31) Revelation 21:1, Then I saw “a new heaven and a new earth,” for the first heaven and the first earth had passed away, and there was no longer any sea.
